Target Optical

This target Optical is horrible and the boy working today 2/9/26 is rude, terrible & should learn to have better customer service skills. My mother and two sisters went in for their separate appointments where my mom was first where she showed up late and understood to reschedule her appointment but the guy declined to see my other two sisters who are separate patients with their own appointments scheduled after, who showed up on time. The man did not want to see them even tho they were both on time and my mother had accepted she was late to her appointment as long as my sisters were on time with their appointments scheduled after her. He declined to see all 3 with separate appointment times.

Terrible Customer Service Experience I had a very disappointing experience with Target Optical. The staff--specifically Carmen and Rene--were unprofessional, incompetent, and showed little regard for customer care. If they don't enjoy their job, they should consider stepping aside for someone who does. I had an appointment and still waited over 30 minutes to be seen. When I was finally called, they treated me and my concerns as if they didn't matter. I was rushed through the process of selecting glasses with no explanation or guidance whatsoever. It felt like they just wanted to get it over with. I tried to get glasses and left several messages, but they never responded. This kind of service is unacceptable, especially when it involves something as important as eye care. I hope this feedback leads to better training and accountability. I will never be back there!

I wanted a glasses adjustment, but the person working there was super not careful. she manhandled my glasses to adjust the nose grips and they looked like the glasses were going to come apart

Camarillo Target Optical is definitely the place to go to get your glasses and contacts. And when you are there, ask for Joseph. He was really patient and helpful throughout my experience. Thank you Joseph!

They give bad service, I had to wait more than 30 minutes just to pick up my glasses

Been coming here for several year. Brought in a pair of glasses that were out of warranty and they honored the warranty and I paid only my deductible for a brand new pair. Target Optical associate was very helpful.

The optical Manager is very unprofessional incompetent and rude... When I purchased my glasses back in August 2024, he did not calculate the formulas correctly nor did he perform the measurement correctly causing my glasses to be inaccurate and unusable... I took them back to get them corrected but when I got them back the second time they still were incorrect. I wasn't a real fan of the frame and the temples pressed real hard against my head giving me headaches, when I loosen them up they would fall off. I ended up losing these glasses. Going back to August 2024 the second pair that I purchased was not a good fit for my face... The manager upsold me the insurance and when I said is this the same as the sun love that Sunglass hut offers he said yes, as I know that sunglasses hut owns target optical... However the policies for sun-love insurance and the target optical insurance are different which he failed disclose, when I went to use my insurance he said it wasn't like the sun love insurance that is offered at Sunglass hut I told him that I specifically asked if it was like sun love and he said yes and he lied just so he could achieve his KPI's and make his commission... Anyways the manager started being rude and condescending towards me and I really wanted to tell him off, but I wanted him to help me and get my way so I just took it. I get a call two weeks later only to be told that they ordered the incorrect lenses so I had to wait another week and a half to get my glasses... I go to pick up my glasses and I can not see out of them, I told the optician and again him being rude and condescending says that's your prescription you're the one that said yes and no to the 1 and 2, I told him I can't see he then says put them on tomorrow and they will work, well here we are it's tomorrow and I've been wearing them all day for the past 10 hours and I seriously cant can't see, I would go back but this guy is an idiot and just doesn't get it so I'm going to go to another eye doctor get my eyes rechecked and get the proper prescription and hopefully the optician will input the correct formulas and measurements... Until then I will be wearing my glasses from 4 years ago with a different prescription where I can actually see clear...

Been coming here for 5 years. Never an issue with Optometrists or sales associates. I had to exchange contacts I had previously purchased due to an allergy I have with this particular brand. Easy to exchange and reorder my new ones. The sales associate was very helpful.
