After years of going to Costco for my eye exams, my daughter recommended that I try West Village Optometry, and I have had a great experience. I saw Dr. Magdato and he took his time and did a great job fine tuning my prescription to improve issues that I have been having this past year. I left my exam feeling a lot more positive about my eyes than I have for years. Christina helped me select my frames, and she was so patient and helpful. It was an all around great experience. Furthermore, I appreciate that they took care of my insurance for me, rather than me having to submit a claim later

This weekend we visited West Village Optometry for the first time. Melissa was super attentive, patient and helped us navigate finding the right frames and determining how best to use our insurance.
We had a couple of items to take care of during the week so she gave us her card and told us she would take care of us once we got the pertinent information sorted out.
Once I called back, the rep who answered the phone was also very helpful and had Melissa call us back right away.
5-star experience all the way around. We will be using West Village Optometry for our family's future optometry needs. Thank you Melissa!

Found this great optometry office with really nice glasses and sunglasses so I treated myself to some amazing Chanels and will come back to have my new glasses prescription made into Tom Ford glasses! The staff here were super helpful and very nice, no one was pushy which was great considering what I wanted was so fancy! I also love supporting small businesses that are family owned so another plus! Do yourself as favor and bring your glasses prescription here! Highly recommended!!

I've been coming to west village optometrist before they moved from Montclair to Claremont.
I transferred my prescription to warby parker because of their insane covid pricing. Ive always paid cash, and i have never paid $1500.00 for eyewear. But that is what they wanted me to pay during covid. Terrible customer service at that point. Then today I wanted to bring my prescription back to west village optometrist to see If their customer service has improved, it has not! I was refused the prescription transfer & service for sun glasses, contacts, and frames. I recommend another optometry

First time patient and I have to say the experience was great! Making the appointment was easy and the young lady who took my call was very nice and accommodating. My appointment was with Doctor Magdato who was very patient, answered all my questions and explained everything in great detail. I went with his recommendation and selected a pair of glasses to help me with the long hours I spend looking at the computer at work.
The young lady who helped me with selecting the frames was very knowledgeable and friendly. Once I found a pair, I placed the order and after two weeks I got them in.
So happy with my new glasses! Definitely recommend this place if you're in need of an exam or looking for glasses.
