The customer service is poor. I was on time for my appointment. After waiting 15 minutes past my appointment, I inquired because no one said anything to me. This occurred 3/9/2026 and without apologizing, a young man simply told me that they were running behind.... He said they were seeing the 11:00 appointment and it was about 11:35. My appointment was 11:20 and by now it was after 11:30. Finally the tech ushered me into the room for the preliminary examination and I told her that I had not received the courtesy of acknowledgment that I was waiting or apology for their lateness, and she was non-responsive as if I was talking to the wall. When asked she said her name was "Edith". It seemed like she had made up the name. She was also young and Latino appearing with long black hair. At no time did she offer any explanation or apology even after I told her that good customer service required at least that. Finally I saw Dr. Liu. I told her of my experience and she apologized. I appreciated her acknowledgment, but after the experiences with the other staff, I decided to leave without even looking at the glasses. My insurance provides for $300.00 frames, so considering my taste, the store lost out on at least $600.00 or more. Last year I bought from a different optometrist store and paid $900.00 which included my $ 300.00 frame allowance. I went elsewhere last year because the professionalism of the optician in 2024 was lacking. I was right in 2024.
I had a great experience at this store. Liz took all the stress out of choosing glasses and helped me feel cute and confident. The glasses came quickly and I was just as happy with them at home as I was in the store. Overall it was quick and easy. I'll definitely come back here for my next pair.
I stopped by LensCrafters with a quick question about nose pads, even though this isn't my regular optical provider. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Kim went above and beyond by finding matching nose pads, replacing both for a clean look, cleaning my glasses, and having them adjusted--at no charge. When I asked how much I owed, I was told nothing, just a kind request to leave a review and mention Kim.
Outstanding customer service and genuine kindness. Thank you, Kim and team!
They have the nicest staff . Very professional. Went to get an eye exam and purchase contact lenses .Go to Lizeth she can help you with anything. Love the stylish sunglasses they have there too . Will be going back to this store for sure .
It was my first experience in LensCrafters. My experience was enriched by their optician Kerin A. I told him the type of feel & look that best describes my personality and lifestyle and he knew exactly what I was looking for! I would have never been able to decide on a frame without his input. The glasses are perfect and I owe it all to Kerin A!
If I could give a ZERO rating, I would. Went in to get a slight adjustment of glasses for my 92 year old mother. But because the glasses were purchased in another store, they would not "touch them" and sent us away. How could a basic courtesy not be done? There was NO ONE in the store and 4 sales associates sitting at their desks with nothing to do. I would NEVER patronize this store in the future!
Ehhhh it's been over two weeks I still have not gotten my lenses and frames back that I ordered, nor have I received any updates or an email receipt. I've called multiple times for updates and on this last occasion the service rep (rudely) lied to me stating they had called me before with an update and left me a message. Looking back in my phone records he was somehow confusing MY prior call to them as them reaching out to me. They refuse to email me a receipt, provide me with my order number, or text/email/call with updates on delays and refuse generally to be helpful or courteous. I'm really sorry it's your lot in life to answer phones at the Culver City lens crafters trust me I won't come back.
Update- No I don't want to do busy work via your survey, I just want my designer glasses with the lenses that I paid for. Please refrain from further AI responses
My wife had a horrendous experience at this place. The assistants provided absolutely abysmal service and utterly failed to inform her that the prescribed lenses wouldn't be compatible with the eyeglass frames she selected. They shamelessly took the money without any consideration for her needs. Instead of the elegant glasses she was expecting, she received an ugly, expensive, bulky piece of glass. My wife has been crying all evening because of this disaster. Now, instead of enjoying the Christmas season, I am forced to deal with this infuriating mess
UPD:
After speaking with the store manager, who was very understanding, the issue with the glasses was resolved. My wife now has nice glasses, as she originally expected
