Innercare - El Centro Optometry

When I made my appointment I let them know that all I wanted was a prescription so I could purchase the glasses online. I told the optometrist that the over the counter reading glasses that I have are a 3.25. I also told him that I read all day, every day, so I was going to get 1 pair of reading glasses and 1 pair of bifocals. He gave me the prescription for 3.0 for both the readers and the bottom of the bifocals. I didn't bother to check the script in his office. I just gave him the benefit of the doubt that he listened to me and gave me the right script. He said I don't care if you get them online or in Algadones, I'll just see you next year. So I thought, that sounds good, I'll go to Algadones. Which I did the next day. When the glasses were handed to me I didn't like them. My cheap walmart readers were better. The Algadones optometrist assured me they were right according to the script. He is the one who said they were 3.0. So I had to pay $135. for two pairs of WORTHLESS glasses. When I called the el centro Office the next week they tried to say come in an we'll talk. I said I live an hour away and don't want to come in unless I know they are going to give me two pairs of glasses with the right prescription. I then spoke with two different managers. The second one said she would call me back by the end of that day. She never called back. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THEY ARE EITHER INCOMPETENT OR DECEITFUL OR BOTH!!!

Excellent service. Jenny and Belinda are both so efficient, helpful, caring, and extremely professional. Dr. Vallarta is very compassionate and thorough with the eye exams and he explains everything in detail. So knowledgeable. Love this place. Highly recommend. These girls go above and beyond for the clients.
