First of we didn't have wait time since we had appointments scheduled. The service here is outstanding every time, and the extended selection of glasses is the best! Definitely come back every year for my eye exam along with my family.

My husband wanted to try a new place after we moved here, but they messed up his glasses not once, but twice. We gave them a second chance because mistakes happen, but they still got it wrong and the quality of the work just wasn't there.
The doctor and staff were great, and their customer service was solid. However, the ladies who handle the glasses definitely need some fine-tuning. No matter how friendly everyone the doctor and staff are, when it comes to something as important as being able to see, we won't be going back.

I went to this place to look at options since I just acquired eye insurance, when I was looking at glasses an older lady working there called the attention of another worker onto us and pointed at me and my friends, she then walked up to us and said "you can't be here. You need someone with you" I then said "oh I'm just looking" and she said " well you can't try the glasses on" implying that we tried doing that when we haven't even touched anything. She then proceeds to make sure all cabinets are closed and leaves. Felt like she was implying that we might rob the store. Mind you I went to make an appointment first but asked if I can see the options first and they said to go right ahead. Horrible service from that lady so I decided to take my $ elsewhere.

The receptionist is very nice and helpful but the department where you pickup your glasses is a pain. They claim to close at 7 but if you show up after 5:30 they will make it difficult to assist you.

I had not been to Optom Eyes since 2018. The store is clean, the staff friendly, knowledgeable and professional. It was an enjoyable visit and I would recommend this location for your eye solutions (Imperial Valley Mall). I didn't agree with the mandatory retinal scan but, it was done for my eye health. Apparently it is mandatory since 8/1/2025. That reminds me of all the mandatory tips nowadays or any merchant saying I need to make a "mandatory" purchase of an item in order to shop in their store. Just a heads up if you schedule an appointment.
