Oliver is amazing!! He got me in quick, really assisted me with 5/5 customer service! Appointment was so cool as a hybrid exam! Loving the technology update! Anyways, go see Oliver at STANTON if you need your vision needs met he is the best of the best.

Wait times are ridiculous even with appointment, spoke to a lady on the phone told me they did take my insurance etc etc when i got there didnt ask me for none of that first redflag. Second they said they didnt take insurance they only offered discounts?! Um i only went because i thought they covered my insurance, and third good luck tryna get anything done on the internet there is no signal in there the lady helping me couldnt even get her screen to load overall terrible experiance felt like i got scammed but the gentleman with the long hair was very helpful. Shoutout to him

I've heard that this company wasn't good but I still went because it was convenient and I've been there previously and had no issues. When I went a couple weeks ago, the person who took my exam was impatient, dismissive and rude. He kept on muttering underneath his breath during my exam and was being impatient when I was telling him none of the options on the screen looked better. The trial pair of contacts they gave me wasn't my correct prescription and my vision was still blurry in one eye. When I told them that, they assured me that once I use my actual new prescription, it wasn't going to be like that and they also told me that once I open the pack of contacts, I won't be able to return them. I needed contacts asap because my eye was in so much discomfort so I opened the contacts and they did absolutely nothing. They weren't any better than the trial one they gave me. My vision is still blurry and eye is still uncomfortable, if not more. And I'm stuck with a years worth of contacts that I can't use and can't return for a refund. I don't recommend this location or this company.

I still can not believe the total experience with Stanton Optical-Elk Grove, CA was well beyond 5 stars. Every stage from awareness of keyword search, 'eye glasses same day near me', to receiving my glasess 40min after arriving for my same day-early morning appointment. They are my only source of opitical care! I strongly recommend them.

Apparently, Diana's experience below is not unusual. I just found out that my friend got the same impression from the older exam technician- impatient and slightly irritated. When he was asked which one to read during the exam, his reply was just, "Read it, read it!" Strongly repeating something doesn't automatically result in good communication. Anyway, if her glasses don't work out in a few days, she will return them to verify the prescription, then maybe request a refund if the results are not adequate afterwards. In either case, her treatment that night is not acceptable.

Came in today 01/27/2025 for an eye exam and right away felt welcomed. I didn't get any of their names but the 4 whom were working were doing great especially since they were so busy!

Oliver was a very kind man. As soon as I entered the store, he offered me his modest assistance. He is incredibly prompt. I had a smooth experience here.

My first and last time I will ever buy glasses from them!! I ordered 2 pairs & only have received 1. It's been a month & 1/2 and still don't have my 2nd pair! No one can tell me what happened to them though. Absolutely ridiculous, so unprofessional!!!! Never purchase eyewear from this place!!!!!!
