Worst experience I have ever had. I called the Hawthorne store to make an appointment for my hard contact lenses. I was told to make an appointment for Friday because only one person would be able to assist. As I check in for my appointment, I confirm again for hard lenses only to be hassled by the receptionist who tells me if I don't already have a prescription for lenses they cannot write one. I tell her I called store directly and told I would be accommodated. As I am led to exam room I mention my hard lenses because no one seems to be informed. I am then told I cannot be helped because the doctor called out. I ask to speak with manager. As I speak to Janet she then tells me the doctor is not taking any new patients for hard lenses and she called out for the day. I inform her of the overwhelming systemic failure of the employees at her store. I was never notified of any of this information until I spoke with the manager, Janet. I was never notified doctor would not be available for my appointment, not even as I checked in. I was not told doctor does not accept new patients for hard lenses at any time. I was given a simple sorry and told maybe I could be helped at the Downey location approximately 15 miles away. AMERICAS WORST FOR EYES AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Very quick and detailed appointment for my husband. Jason was absolutely amazing!!! He gave great options for frame choices, great advice on how to proceed with the choices we made and amazing instructions on how to pick up in two weeks. His knowledge of the store is super impressive. He alone made our trip there worth it and makes us want to return!

I am a returning customer and everytime I came Jason would help me. He is the absolute best and is very honest. So if you wanna look stylish or unsure if something looks right on you ask Jason cause babe he always gets me right.

I love this Optometry Business. The location is convenient and there is ample parking. The selection of frames is great. The staff is friendly and works together well. A big shout out must be given to Dr. D. Kim. She is the reason I have returned to this business. In 2022, she prescribed a perfect pair of single vision glasses. I still wear them. Fast forward to 2024, Dr. D. Kim served me again. She listened to my needs and prescribed a perfect progressive pair of glasses. I describe her as attentive, patient-focused, professional, and very good at her work. Dr. D. Kim is my main reason for going to this location. Thank you America Best for her!

Best location! Staff is amazing and catered to all my needs. They made sure my glasses fit perfectly and always give great customer service. Will continue to come back and recommend this store over others.

They literally went from being America's best to America's Worst! Do yourself a favor and dont show up here. Also most the reviews on here are fake. I called in asking for my prescription and they said you need to show up. We can't just send it to you. I thought it was a little ridiculous but I still showed up. No questions asked. When I got there, they said we can't give you your prescription because you didn't take your eye exam at this location and we can't your you 1 week trial (because I wasn't ordering over priced contacts from them). Anyways I knew for a fact I got my eye exam at that location so they rechecked and relented but knew they had to give me my prescription. You know the prescription I paid your company for. Anyways they still refused to give me a one week trial while I waited for my contacts to arrive through mail. I bet your anything if you buy from them they will give you a 1 week trial, because that's what they did in the past. Anyways, I asked to speak to the manager on staff and asked to speak to the optometrist for 1 minute. They refused to provide that service. Just overall bad customer service and inconpetent employees. You can tell this company is going to close down soon because of the service or lack of service they're providing to America's hardworking citizens. They should take out both words America and Best in their company name because those two employees were probably the absolute worst. They need to train their team better and get some employees that are more human rather than robots. There's something to being human and being human with another human. And they're lacking that. It's literally a joke of a facility. I feel bad because I know the optometrist is a good person. But the customer service of employees is plain and simple some of the absolute worst and I think deep down they know that.

If you need glasses, THIS is the place to go too. I came in because I needed some glasses and the service provided by Andrea was outstanding! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and caring welcome. She helped me with everything I had questions on as well as helped me keep calm when performing all the tests on my eyes. She introduced me to Janet and Danise as well which helped facilitate my selection of my new glasses as well as ensure I got the proper cover este for my investment. Definitely Americas Best place to get eyeglasses. Will continue to come here for years to come!
