Hollister Vision Center Family Optometry

I'm very satisfied with the Hollister Vision Center. The staff is very professional, friendly, and quick. Dr. Theaker is very good. They seams to be a good team. They accommodated my appointment very well and helped me pick my glasses in about 10 minutes. I really had excellent experience there. I waited about 5 days for my new glasses. FYI in other places I waited 3-6 weeks.

The people at Hollister Vision Center go above and beyond! I guess it's true that "...you never know what you got 'til it's gone..." because I've now been living out of state for almost 2 years and I've been unable to find any optometrist that matches their level of care and service. Need something adjusted? They won't just use their thumbs to bend the frames in front you-- they will take your glasses to the back, clean them, and adjust them properly. Also, their large selection of frames is outstanding because you should be able to find something that you like when you're wearing your glasses every day! You won't regret going here!

This was my first eye appt in many years. The staff was excellent and fast. The dr. was prompt and thorough. I ran into some scheduling conflicts (my fault not there's!) and they were beyond accommodating and very kind about it! Looking forward to continuing my family's relationship with Hollister Vision Center!

Friendly service and plenty of frames to try on. Make sure you arrive on time for your appointment or it will get rescheduled.

I've been going here for about 8 years and Dr Theaker gives great service. However ever since the pandemic it's unbelievably hard to get an appointment. In Oct 2021 I had an apt for May of 2022. They canceled my appointment saying I had called to cancel (I never did) instead of trying accommodate me and squeeze me in, they had me wait until Aug of 2022. I literally waited 10 months for a 30 min appointment. I finally received my new glasses 3 weeks later (you have to make an appointment just to pick up your glasses ). After wearing them for a week the prescription was too strong, I was getting migraines. I called beginning of Sept and they could only scheldule me until Oct 20th. I believed I would see the doctor, check my prescription and see what could be done. NOPE. I waited in the waiting area for 10 mins for the other doctor who has never seen me, or given me an eye exam say " the other doctor said he thinks he may have given you too high of a prescription in one eye so I'll just fix that and call you when it's done". No checking or examining my eye sight to double check my prescription. I waited a whole month to wait 10 mins and see another doctor for 1 min!! Horrible service is an understatement. I will not be retuning to this doctor since it's unbelievably hard to even recieve an appointment and I'm just another number on the list. No personal service. I do not recommend going here.

Hollister Vision has friendly, efficient service, very knowledgeable people. Decent prices on contacts, also a local business, so I'm glad to support them I have been using them for my eye needs for almost twenty years.

I had some glasses that had minor damage to the frames. They were able to repair them for a small price. Thank you I saved a few hundred dollars. You guys are awesome.

Everyone is friendly from the moment you walk in, and efficient. I felt like my concerns were listened to and met. Everything was explained clearly and the doctor took his time.
