Dr. K. Leo Uyeda, Optometrist

Dr. Uyeda is the best optometrist I've been to. During the exam, he is very thorough, patient and always taking time to listen to my concerns. In addition, both of his staff are so amazing. They are very friendly and courteous. Highly recommended!

I've been going to Dr. Uyeda since 1985. I recommended him to all my co-workers. They all agreed it's worth the drive where ever you live. One coworker drove from Long Beach just to see him. They were very satisfied. Another coworker said she couldn't believe he didn't try to sell her new glasses when she didn't need them. He is very honest, caring and knowledgeable. I recently went to see him for my yearly checkup, I didn't need new glasses. I asked him if he was going to retire soon, he said no. I was thrilled, I don't want to go anywhere else.

I have seen Dr Uyeda for the last 15/20 years, my daughter sees him now as well (she is 7, first pair of glasses at 5 years old) Both my parents are also patients of Dr. Uyeda. We have now moved 25 minutes away but we drive back to Buena Park when it's time for a visit to the eye Doc. He's thorough, honest and a true professional. Reina at the front desk is amazing! She is always so helpful and accommodating!

I love Dr. Uyeda - and the staff is amazing! They always help me pick just the right glasses for my personality. Do I normally have Dolce & Gabbana pieces? Not so much. But when insurance pays and I get to wear them everyday? You bet! Seriously, a great and caring eye doctor, and interesting and on trend eye frame selections. I highly recommend the iDoc.

Probably the single best optometrist that you will find! I know, because I purchased a comprehensive exam from this man. He has the equipment necessary to uncover anything and everything that relates to your eyes. I had retinal imaging work done, on his special machine. Plus, he is older and has decades of experience doing this. A quiet and respectful person as well. There's no question that this office is worth the drive. I would recommend this optometrist to a friend or family member without hesitation. This is an honest, unbiased review from a person who actually purchased the services and who simply felt that this gentleman deserved a positive recommendation for the level of care and expertise that he displayed.
