Dr. Ken J Boyer, Optometrist

Upon arrival to my appointment, I was greeted by the front desk. No wait time I was immediately pretested and then the doctor saw me. Dr. Brian Boyer explained my vision to me. when picking up my frames,I told staff what type I was interested in and they showed me options to choose from. This was my first time at this office, but I will definitely be going back. The staff was knowledgeable and the office was clean and well put together.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Boyer Optometry. From the moment I walked in, the front desk and staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional, which immediately set the tone for a great visit. A special thank you to Merlinda, who went above and beyond--even with a same-day cancellation, she handled everything politely, professionally, and with such ease. She made the process stress-free and pleasant. Dr. Boyer's office is equipped with the latest, top-of-the-line technology, and the care provided is truly exceptional. I initially made an appointment with Dr. Boyer to get new lenses for my pricey titanium frames. My prescription required bifocals, so I requested progressive bifocal lenses. However, the lenses they made, while fine for distance vision, strained my eyes when reading. When I raised concerns, I was told to 'get used to them.' I found this response unsatisfactory. After several trips back to the office for adjustments and dealing with different staff each time, I gave up. Not only were the lenses incorrect, but they also altered the shape of my frames. I'm extremely disappointed with their work and will not return.

I had a great experience visiting Boyer's Optometry. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming. Dr. Boyer was very compassionate in explaining exam results to me and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Jonathan was very helpful and professional in helping me find frames that worked the best for me. All in all, it was a wonderful and timely experience throughout.

I'm frankly disgusted by the shady business practices that Dr. Boyer's office has devolved too. I hadn't been in the office for a while, so called to request an appointment and on the phone confirmed the appointment cost would be $139 + $79 for both a glasses and lens prescription. When I get there, there was no usual paper down to cover the chin rests for the machines, and I didn't see the tech clean them. Within 30 seconds of Dr. Boyer coming in he immediately started peddling laser surgery to me even though I have healthy eyes and my vision stayed exactly the same and then proceeded to enter a long story about how I should consider it and there's no reason to be afraid, all so he could refer me out to a surgeon (which I found out later is something they charge for). The last time I was there, they would give you a pair to walk out of the office with...nope not this time. Then I get introduced to Rosie, to go "over the pricing", Rosie wrote in the invoice the $139 + $79 +$0 (because I didn't get a referral), but when I made it clear I wasn't dropping $340 that day for contact lenses, she then SCRIBBLES OUT the $139 and puts $149. When I pressed her on it, she gives me a line of BS....it's the higher price because I hadn't been there in a while....I would've pressed it further had I not had to return a call as my mom is evacuating her home during these fires, but will never be dealing with these SHADY people and their disgusting practices.

I've been coming to this place since I was 15, I'm going to be 28 soon! Love this place!!! They send post cards for holidays and birthdays, amazing staff that's friendly, comfortable vibes,fast paced, for someone with anxiety I enjoy my time at the office every time. Never had an issue.

If I could give this business 6 stars, I would! My appointment time was 2:00 PM and at 2:01 I was ushered back to complete several eye tests and to see Dr. Boyer. The entire office staff is personable and very professional while the equipment is state of the art. Dr. Boyer introduced me to bifocal contacts a year ago and I just ordered another 12 months worth as they have made a tremendous difference in the quality of my vision. I'd also like to compliment the optician, Oscar. Although this office offers every pair of sunglasses one could wish for, I am impossible to fit and please. Not only did Oscar understand what I was looking for, he is also outstanding at fitting frames based on the shape of your face and your lifestyle. In summation, again, for the second year I have been a patient, I am beyond impressed with the care and competence given to me. The website states that Dr. Boyer and his associates treat everyone like family and that is true in every respect!

Moved to the area! Decided to give this office a try based off of reviews and the fact that I always pass by and the parking lot is full. My visit went by very smooth. All staff are very professional. Wait time was less than 5 mins and the Dr was very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
