My son's SLP recommended to do a check up with them. At that time, my son was having difficulties to learn how to read. After the assessment with Dr Hillier (he is amazing!), we decided to start therapy asap. Dr J (he is also amazing!) was the one responsible for all the sessions with his fantastic team at the Sorrento Valley office. My son enjoyed the sessions and we performed all activities suggestes at home. The whole team of therapists were very kind, patient, and encoraging. After my son graduated vision therapy he was unstoppable! He started reading and improving each month. He always loved math and the vision therapy helped with that, too. I strongly recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely the best at getting your prescription and glasses right. You will notice the difference and I recommend them without reservation to everybody. You will immediately see the difference the moment you put on your glasses.

Great experience with Dr Hillier and his staff. They are very friendly, organized and very professional. My exam was 2 hours long and very detailed. I feel like I was listened to for the first time and I know my lenses are going to be perfect for me.

I have been a patient at San Diego Center for Vision Care for decades (one of their first 200 patients). At the start of their Vision Therapy program, I was selected to participate in it for adults to determine if it would be beneficial for adults (indeed, it is!). Dr. Carl Hillier and Dr. Melissa Hillier are compassionate optometrists, and explain in a comprehensive manner everything that is happening (or not happening) with one's vision.
