A technician named Cabral, Nicole did the eye test . I did not think anything remarkable happened during the test , but upon reading the summary later I learnt that she listed me as a "difficult patient, who refused to cooperate , and that she had to convince me multiple times and repeat instructions multiple times during the test " when nothing like this even happened ! If anything , I was super friendly and cooperative with her . I was truly shocked ! Definitely never going back to these people again .

If you want your eye destroyed then use the Byers institute. They first completey missed I was having a reaction to perseratives from medicine I was prescribed which caused me to lose my vision for 5days. Then after regaining my vision they then made me suffer for weeks with inflammation in my eye refusing to treat it with steriods bc I was a responder and only allowed me to use over the counter tears. Ultimately instead of maybe having glaucoma I now have permanent nerve damage in my eye due to there negligence to treat the inflammation in my eye which is miserable. The best part is now they have no clue how to treat nerve injury and referred me to a doctor in Florida while I have horrible pain and misery. Overall, if you want your life ruined come to Stanford. Otherwise, recommend seeking treatment else where.

From the second I walked in, Angelique at the reception area was super kind and welcoming. Her smile radiates her kindness and she makes you feel incredibly safe and welcomed. She smiled, made me feel comfortable, and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. What an absolute gem!! To have her greet you - makes you feel like you are in the right place. Nicole, the tech, brought me back and was just as great. She explained everything clearly and had such a calm, reassuring energy. It really made a difference. Absolutely lovely individual! I appreciate her kindness and warmth Then I saw Dr. Chen, and I honestly can't say enough good things about her. She really took her time with me, asked questions, listened closely, and made the whole visit feel very personal. I couldn't do the dilation, so instead of forcing it, she took retinal photos instead. That one choice showed me she actually cared about what worked best for me. I felt so seen and supported. She made sure I understood everything, asked if I had more questions, and even scheduled a follow-up to check in on how I'm doing. I left feeling seen and respected..which doesn't always happen in medical settings. If you're looking for a doctor who actually listens and a team that treats you like a human being, this is the place.

Dr Mekonnen was very helpful and nice. She tried to investigate the root cause of my eye issue, explained the treatment and would contact my previous eye doctor.

Today I had an appointment with Doctor Ryan Keenan. I'm so glad to have met with him because I got a better understanding and clarity about my eye situation of seeing double vision along with blurry vision and many other issues. Dr. Keenan took the time to understand my situation-problem with my eyes, answered all my questions they never made me feel like I was rushed. I would highly recommend Stanford and Dr. Ryan Keenan!
