Dr. Bovy, Dr. Z and Allison made my first "tweaking" appointment alot less scary than I had expected after my L.A.L cataract surgery. They all explained the process thoroughly and treated me very gently. I won't be afraid to continue the required number of tweaking appointments now. Dr. Carl has a fine tuned group of professionals that have treated me well for over 25 years!

It was my first time at SoCal eye clinic. I am a cash patient. I rated my experience as five stars due to the time and attention given to me by Juana Cortes, Refractive Coordinator, & Dr. Pasquali, Ophthalmologist. However, the waiting room was mediocre mostly because of the front office management. It seemed like there were older patients and also elderly patients who had a misunderstanding of the reason for their appointments. For instance, I overhead one elderly gentleman was scheduled to have a dilated eye exam however he was unaware that it was a that it was a dilated eye exam, and he needed to reschedule the appointment due to conflicting appointments. Basically it seemed like he coordinated his ride for nothing. Luckily the man was pleasant and didn't become argumentative. There was another woman in the waiting room who got registered after I did, and apparently she was scheduled as an annual eye exam, but she was irritable and said that she needed only an acute problem, focused eye exam. Patients were attended to respectfully. I think that the front office workflow needs review. In my opinion, this chaos and confusion at the front desk does not bode well for organized scheduling, clear communication, and patient expectations for follow up appointments, etc. This makes me nervous, especially if I complete eye surgery, in terms of my postop appointments and follow up appointments thereafter. The ophthalmologist, Dr. Pasquali, and the surgery coordinator Juana were excellent. I came prepared to my consultation with questions written down, a clipboard with pen and paper, and they graciously answered all of my questions and allowed me to take notes. The back office staff were excellent and that is why I rated this as a five star review however I'm not sure if my experience was because I was a new patient and a cash patient. I worry about the front office. I hope that senior management and leadership read this review and highly consider auditing the workflow of the front office. Dr. Nhu is an amazing doctor and skilled surgeon. Entire staff is impressive in both their warmth and their professionalism. Grateful to all of you!

Friendly and professional staff. Loved the open and honest communication from Dr Hartman and look forward to coming back to keep track of my eye health.

great staff, always friendly and helpful is my experience with this team of professionals, came in for my annual eye exam due ty diabetic condition and service was a breeze, I didn't give 5 stars because Doctor Pasquali was falling behind schedule, and I believe too that grading a service with 5 stars leaves no room for growth, for improvement, great team. keep up the good work.

I love my new eyes. I was treated really well by staff. I would like to be told that I would only see Dr Hartman once and I saw some young Dr. Who barely tells her name. She is very nice, but I really don't know who she is.

The doctor"s assistant took me in and did different procedures with my eyes, and she was extremely professional and very sweet. Once I saw the doctor, I had the same experience with her. I wasn't expecting such kindness and expertise. Thank you!

My cataract surgery was the best medical related experience I've ever had, the staff is professional and couldn't be friendlier, Dr. Clay did an outstanding job, I highly recommend this place...
