Stein Optometric

I was very happy with my experience at Stein Optical. Colleen listened carefully to my concerns about eyeglass frames. She immediately adjusted my present frames, releasing the pressure against my head. She patiently helped me choose a more comfortable frame. She held my chosen frame for over one week. My prescription is currently being filled. I appreciated that Colleen explained the steps she took while fitting me according to my prescription and also making sure I understood the different add-ons I was ordering. I would highly recommend Stein Optical!

Dr Nenov is amazing. I've been wearing the wrong prescription contact lenses for almost a year. She did a very thorough exam and gave me a sample pair of contacts to try. She scheduled a follow up appointment so she could see how these new lenses are working out. Dr Nenov is professional, very thorough, knowledgeable, nice and friendly. I'm so happy

On Tuesday, Dec 16, 2025, for my appointment at 3:00 PM, I went to Stein Optometric to get a new pair of glasses. The experience of the visit was very gratifying where I received caring individual customer care from the 3 persons I saw. After filling out some forms, I was taken to the first person where I looked into a machine where my peripheral vision was measured. Then I was tested for glaucoma. I also requested pictures of my retinas. Then after that, I saw the second person named Heather who was the doctor who gave me personal care who was very thorough in determining the prescription for my new glasses. She answered all of my questions and she was very encouraging to me when I had a hard time focusing on what was the best lens for eyes. Since childhood, one of my eyes sees the horizon and everything else tilted at a small angle. I asked her if prisms would work to level out the angle. She tested for that and after the test, it was determined that prisms wouldn't work for me. I told her at night when I see the headlights of oncoming cars, I see beautiful colorful star bursts from the headlights. She said that I have cataracts in both eyes and need to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist who does cataract operations in order to remove them. She also told me which eye had worst cataracts. After that, I saw the third person named Mike who gave me personal care by spending a lot of time with me in choosing the frames for my new glasses and also answering my questions. I felt that the 3 persons I saw were very customer oriented.

I've been a client of Stein Optemetric for at least 20 years now. I would not trust my precious eyesight to anyone else. Dr. Tracy Kawamura is an outstanding optometrist and a consummate professional. It's her kindness, honesty, and going the extra mile for her patients that keeps me coming back year after year. In a time when things are constantly changing, I'm very grateful that Stein Optemetric remains a premier business anyone can trust. I'm a forever fan. As long as they keep the doors open and as long as my eyes are open I'll be there annually.

I have been visiting Stein Optometric for 15 years for annual eye examinations and glasses. Their service is always very professional and efficient. Many of the staff have been there for a long time. Dr. Nenov is very thorough and easy to speak with. She has the most wonderful positive attitude. I highly recommend Stein!

I have been here few times to get lenses over the years. Today I went to get an exam and get another pair of lenses. I am extremely happy with the service. Dr. Vanessa Kuriki showed me lots of options with various lenses, looked and answered in details all other questions. And getting a new frame was super pleasant experience. Thank you.

I always have a great experience at Stein Optometric Manhattan Beach. I had to switch to another optometrist and hadn't been back in 5 years, but was delighted to return. The office looks great and I was happy to be able to see Dr. Tracy again for a routine eye check up and prescription check. She always is very thorough and I never feel rushed. Happy to continue my eye care here again.

Always a pleasant experience. Pre appoint notifications help remind you that's its getting close. I arrived on time and was immediately taken care of. I was there for complete eye exam and to order new required lens to update my prescription. Total time for visit and processing. Took a little under one hour which Included a tune up for my current glasses! Stien runs a very efficient operation and takes good care of thier patients.
