Dr. Friedman is hands down the best doctor I've ever seen. I was visiting from out of town & had an eye emergency. I was seen, same day, with minimal wait time. He spent over an hour interviewing, examining my eye, treating me & making sure I was comfortable with the plan. I had to be followed closely and he made room in his schedule to see me in follow up for 3 days. He even called on the weekend to check that I had appropriate follow up at home. I wish I lived nearby & considered flying back to see him as my home state had only 2 specialists to treat my condition. Dr. Friedman is so thorough. I cannot recommend him enough! Even following up with 3 other ophthalmologists, one being Stanford, not one ophthalmologist took more than a few minutes to look at my eye. I owe my vision and recovery to Dr. Friedman for diagnosing & treating me so quickly. Thank you so much. You & your staff are above and beyond.

My internist referred me to Mid-Peninsula Ophthalmology Medical Group over a decade ago, and I highly recommend this group. Every doctor I have seen here has had excellent credentials, experience and interpersonal skills in caring for patients. The support staff is also great. Very friendly and caring and helpful in getting me scheduled when I needed to be seen. It's a great team. I have confidence in this group and I recommend them to friends and family.

Dr. Jayaram is absolutely wonderful! She took time to carefully listen to my concerns, offered very honest advice, and advocates only for practice which she knows to be evidence-based. She's also very personable and has great bedside manner. I definitely recommend Dr. J.

Ann Jayaram took her time with me and accommodated me even though I was a bit late. She took her time to answer all the different questions about various eye procedures including blepharoplasty. She advised against a procedure I was ready to pay for because I was not a candidate. This totally showed me how honest she is with her patients. I will definitely be going back once I am ready for the procedure.

Dr. Jayaram is a wonderful doctor with a great bedside manner. I have seen her a couple of times for Botox and fillers. She is always super informative and conservative with all procedures which is important to me. I also saw her for an upper bleph eyelid procedure recently. The procedure was quick and I healed perfectly. She is a true artist when it comes to the eyes. Super happy with the results and wish I would have found her sooner!

They charge very high prices -- $1,165 for a routine eye exam - so be aware. They are not necessarily upfront about it. Despite that, I wouldn't give them a one star review, except that my daughter went to get a prescription for her glasses and they gave her the whole eye exam and charged this price too, even though my daughter had no eye issue and clearly didn't need such an exam at 18 hey years old.

My daughter had an emergency situation with her eyes and Dr. Jayaram and Dr. Nakano did everything to help heal her. Dr. Nakano came in on a Saturday to make sure she was improving. Both doctors explained everything in detail and made sure they did everything possible to ease her discomfort. I wish everyone was like these doctors.

My wife and I visited Mid-Peninsula Ophthalmology Medical Group office for an eye exam on October 7, 2016. On October 15 I developed first symptoms of viral and bacterial conjunctivitis ("red eye"). My wife developed similar symptoms next day. Viral conjunctivitis incubation period is between 2 and 14 days. I was diagnosed with the disease on October 19, 2016 and my wife was diagnosed with same malady on October 23, 2016 (she was out of town till then). Viral conjunctivitis is a painful and long lasting condition. It took us more than 6 weeks to fully recover from the symptoms. Beware!!!
