I would like to thank all the staff at Hinkley Optometric for providing my mother and I with excellent customer service. They were very kind and friendly. A great place to see your eye doctor and with a great variety of glasses frames you will find a pair to match your look and help you see better. This place is very clean and always professional. Dr James is a great Dr with our entire family. Staff is wonderful we have been happy with Dr James for past 10 years.

After my optometrist retired, I made the switch over to Dr. Hinkley for my eye exams and prescriptions and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and professionalism I experienced. From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome. As a health care provider, I immediately noticed the effort they had made to keep the office atmosphere and equipment modern and clean. Dr. Hinkley himself was fantastic. He took the time to thoroughly explain each step of the examination process and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. He listened to my concerns and I felt like he tailored his recommendations accordingly. This wasn't a quick exam, but he also did not waste time. Very efficient. From the front office to the optician helping me choose frames, the entire staff at Dr. Hinkley's office deserves recognition for their exceptional customer service. They were friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout my visit.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Dr. Hinckley's Optometric Office. Yesterday July 19, 2024 I called to order a pair of glasses for my son and make an appointment for him to be seen by a provider becuase his eyes have been sensitive recently. Shockingly, the office refused to give me an appointment, citing an outstanding balance on the account from my ex-husband, whom I divorced over 16 years ago. My ex-husband lives in a different household, and I have my own separate account. Despite explaining this to the secretary, she insisted that I needed to contact my ex-husband to resolve the balance. This is unacceptable, especially considering I recently was seen there and just purchased two boxes of contacts and a $450 pair of glasses from their office just three weeks ago. There was no mention of any balance when I bought my glasses and contacts. I tried to explain to the girl and she even asked me for my name and date of birth so it should have clearly been noticed that I have my own separate account. The girl on the phone showed no empathy or willingness to help, was rude to me stating that they would not assist me until my ex-husband called them. She instructed me to tell my ex-husband to call their office. I'm not a collection agency for them so I should not have to call him to tell him to pay them that's their job. As a patient of this office for almost 20 years, I am appalled by how downhill their staff and service have gone. They now take forever to schedule appointments and process orders. Even after realizing the mix-up between two separate accounts, no one from the office bothered to call and apologize. It's disheartening to be treated so poorly after two decades of loyalty. This is an awful way to treat a patient. It's time for me to find a new optometrist office.

I have been going here since I was about 12 years old and I cannot say enough about the doctors and staff. Everyone is always so helpful and friendly! The frame selection is also amazing and varies in price so you can always find something that fits your budget. My son and I both have vision issues so I just make our appts together for convenience and it always works out so well. You never wait for long and you truly get the most quality and compassionate service every time!

Hinkley Optometric is the best. My daughter and I love going there. The staff is always so nice. The staff always take their time and always answer the questions we have. They are the best. I would recommend them hands down.

They still require customers to wear a mask and you still must text in order to be let in the front door....which is always locked. Rude receptionists that are over particular about canceling an appointment even if it is a sufficient amount of advance notice. Not welcoming. We have switched. Will never go back

This was my first time in this office, everybody had a friendly smile at the front desk when I walked in, the technician got me back immediately. Dr James was very professional and kind. When selecting my glasses the girls were very knowledgeable and helpful. From start to finish, this office is great! I would recommend Hinkley Optometric to all of my friends and family.
