Just finished my appointment at Stanton to get two pairs of glasses was approached by Steven after I looked around the store for about 30 minutes. I was still looking and he checked in with me one other time, but didn't bother me until I was ready and when I was ready, he took me to his desk, where we went over all day reductions due to the buy one get one free Deal. 15 minutes later, I walked out the door with two gorgeous pairs of progressive-lensed Eyeglasses, completely, and totally informed of all the bills and whistles, warranties options and more not once did I feel I was being pressured to buy something I didn't need in fact, even never pushed for having to get all the warranties or add-ons. His presentation was completely professional. It didn't come off as being a salesman one bit. Additionally, Steven was generally interested in what I did for work and Challenged me to come up with suggestions or personal experiences that had help my careers flourish in summary, I would have no issue with returning to Stanton optical. I would gladly sit at Steven's desk anytime I need assistance with eyeglasses..
Steven Was absolutely amazing. He was so nice and friendly answered all of our questions with no problems. If he did not know it, he would go find out. He gave us a lot of discounts and made this stressful experience A good one I recommend this place to absolutely anybody. And everybody they are absolutely amazing
I had gone weeks suffering without glasses and finally made my way to Stanton Optical. They have great affordable deals, the staff was very kind and I'm so impressed they had my prescription eyeglasses ready an hour later. I am grateful for them, highly recommend.
I went here about three weeks ago to get my eyes checked and I got my prescription. I decided I didn't want to pay $200 for some decent looking glasses so I went elsewhere with the prescription they gave me and bought a few glasses. My eyes never adjusted so I went back and they said they'd test my eyes again. This time my prescription was completely different. They told me that my "eyes just happened to change" within the three weeks. Ridiculous. Then I told them that I bought glasses elsewhere and they had the wrong prescription in them and they told me that's what I get for buy glasses elsewhere and they couldn't help me. Another lady had walked in saying they had gotten her prescription wrong as well. Not to mention the second time I went I waited for three hours just for my eyes to get checked WITH an appointment. Never go here they have absolutely no idea what they're doing. Insane.
Disappointment with the onsite doctor there she was very rude, my husband even asked her if she was okay ? Not even knowing that this was the eye doctor smh , continue to have conversations with other patience while waiting. They stated that shes always like that ... She continued to be rude during the eye exam with both of my children had no patience for children Whatsoever, i stopped during the middle of the eye exam to ask her to slow down because my son has sensory autism, and then she started to treat him differently as if he had a mental disability Mind you. My son is a 2nd grader with a 4th grade level. Who can tell you how to run your own computer? He's not illiterate, but she started to treat him some type of way i then ended the eye exam and walked out telling her how unprofessional she was is .
My children were very confused and didn't understand why she was being so rude to them. The word's right out of my 8-year-old's mouth was. I felt discriminated and she made me feel dumb. That is no way to leave a child filling from there 1st eye doctor appointment.I do not recommend to take children there. And she happens to be the only eye doctor there during the week any other days the doctors are virtual. I gave this place a second chance after losing out $400 about 6 years ago on my husband's glasses, came and got mine about a month ago. Everything went well so I thought let me bring my children. I guess this was a bad idea. Two strikes are out!!!!..
Me and another girl were completely ignored by the guy dressed as a card on Halloween. We could hear employees laughing in the back but no one was helping us. When a man finally came in and asked for glasses pickup, he was helped before us girls by an employee dressed as a mouse that was clearly available the whole time, as she came over immediately to help the guy. Then she finally helped me (with an attitude, until I gave it back to her), I was just told they couldn't help me. Cool. Glad I waited (read: was ignored) 30 minutes to leave empty handed. The girl behind me in line wasn't helped immediately after me either.
I will NEVER go back or recommend anyone come here. If you have to cuz they're cheaper than elsewhere, I get it, but you're better off shopping online. These people don't deserve your money.
And for the record, Stanton, there's no use having a huge reception desk if no one is going to be there or acknowledge customers standing at it. I have no problem waiting. I have an issue with being treated like im invisible tho.
This place is a scam. Overpriced and they don't even make the glasses right. Got charged over $400 for ONE pair of progressives, and they messed up the measurements so I had wear the glasses low on my nose or everything was blurry. They told me that's normal and I'd get used to it. Well, I never did. They got even more blurry from the easy-to-scratch lenses. Thank God I have new glasses now. America's Best on Plaza Parkway took care of me :)
Amazing service at Stanton Optical! Every single person I interacted with was helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Peter made the whole process easy and enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I'll definitely be back!
