Vision Faire Optometry

The doctor and staff at Vision Faire Optometry are excellent, prompt courteous and friendly. Our glasses prescriptions were done perfectly. We recommend them to anyone that needs an optometrist . G & C

I was greeted when I walked in. Reception was friendly. I waited only a couple minutes before going back for some preliminary tests. Then I went into another room and waited 2-3 minutes for the doctor. She was amazing. One of the friendliest women I've ever met. Very kind during my exam. She explained everything very well the entire time. When she was done I was taken out to pick new frames. I waited for maybe a minute and someone came to ask me about my preferences. She then spent 15-20 minutes helping me choose frames until I found ones I loved. She never made me feel rushed. I had the best experience coming here. I'm so glad we chose this place.

I am very iffy about this place because I love my optometrist since I have nothing but great visits with her, it's just the other staff mostly. 1st bad exprience: My insurance already covered for frames/lenses and I wanted contacts so I asked the staff THREE times if they were covered. Once when making the appointment, one time before going to the appointment, and one last time at the appointment. There were even two staff members looking at my folder and they said that it was covered. Once I left they said I had to pay out of pocket. 2nd bad experience: One of the other staff members, I believe she was another optometrist but she was very passive aggressive with me. I had the wrong prescription done for my lenses so I had my prescription redone and I needed them to send the frames for new lenses-- the staff member wanted me to wear my glasses anyway because the prescription was barely different. "See isn't that clearer than nothing?" She even wanted me to wear the old prescription while the new lenses get made. Why why why would you tell someone to wear one prescription until you get the new ones just to adjust to those? It may not be a huge difference but it's still a significant enough difference to have to adjust. That just causes more strain and headaches for me

My fiance & I returned back seeing as they had all our previous information. After coming back a second time I can honestly say it has improved ALOT:) we had a wonderful experience and a nice gentleman & young lady helped us out as well as being patient with us. Definitely glad we decided to give it a second chance. The Doctor is an absolute delight to talk to and everyone is very welcoming and understanding. Thank you for a great experience

I had issues with this office 4 years ago, and I guess somethings haven't changed. Went in on May 2nd for my appointment with the promise that we would have our contacts and glasses within 7-10 business days, that did not happen. Our contacts came in on time and so did my wife's glasses. My glasses came in yesterday 5/24; 22 days later!!! When I followed up on my glasses the first time they told me the lab cut the wrong lenses for the frames, only to be called back and be told that my frames were now lost... So were the lenses cut wrong or were my frames lost... I still have no idea. I had to go back in and pick a new frame because the ones that were "lost" were discontinued. The lady told me that it would be another 7-10 business days because they would need to order the frames from the manufacturer 3-5 days (guess the original mistake didn't qualify for an overnight rush delivery, to make good on their mistake), and then send them to the lab for the lenses to be cut. Meanwhile my wife was having issues with her contacts, they didn't fit correctly and her vision was blurry. She called to follow up and come to find out they gave her the wrong prescription... Well they aren't taking responsibility, because they "don't know how or where these contacts came from". When I brought in the contacts to show them they were the wrong ones, every lady in the building had a deer in the head lights look, and no one had an answer. Like every business they offer a product and a service and like other businesses mistakes happen, or the products good but service is bad or vise versa. This place fails every category, the product wasn't what we paid for or received in the time given. And the service was awful.. During this entire process my wife and I were given attitude and made us feel less than. Ultimately we left with very nice glasses, and we will wear them hoping we get the inevitable question "where did you get those glasses? They're nice". Because I am going to enjoy letting everyone know where exactly I got these glasses and how horribly Vision Faire Optometry conducts business.

I went there a few months back with my daughters prescription from Kaiser. She found a pair of glasses she loved and we got them ordered. I was told we would get them in a week. I was pleased with the way things went that day so I scheduled an appointment for myself. Everything went downhill from there. I feel like they had the attention "well we got their business so now we can stop trying with them". I went in for my appointment we scheduled and was told it was the wrong day. We waited over 3 weeks for my daughter glasses to arrive and we were told multiple different things from multiple different people concerning what was taking so long. Everytime I would call I would be put on hold and transferred multiple times..... a few months has passed. We have moved out of state. I called and asked for my and my daughter prescription. They said they could only send it to a doctor. My new doc requested it and they would not send my daughters which they had on file because it was from kaiser. This was after 2 different people told me they would send it to me. I asked for a manager. I was told there was none available. I asked for someone higher up. I was told ALL the doctors were out of the office. I was obviously being lied too. This office is literally a nightmare to deal with. The only thing they are good at is lying. I would rather go to WALMART then this place. Stay clear.

Would have liked to have given a higher rating but after today's encounter with one of their staff members I will not. Our visit went well, even though there was an issue with our appt. The staff that were there were very professional, friendly and provided outstanding customer service. That was, until we were leaving. This portly blonde staff member walked in and rolled her eyes at me, 1st thing. I watched her as she walked behind the counter, shocked to see that she was an employee who worked there with such a nasty attitude. I got up to speak with my daughter and did not see that the other receptionist who had checked me in had left. That heavy set nightmare was sitting in her place. I politely said Thank you so much and to have a good evening. She rolled her nasty eyes at me again! And...mumbled yeah whatever. She is so lucky that all I did was give her a dirty look and said alright then don't. I called to report her as soon as I got home AND LOW AND BEHOLD, there are some other similar complaints about this atrocious employee. Hope they learn their lesson and toss her out to find a more suitable job for her dumpster, unprofessional and ogre attitude.

Woman up front heavy set with a very thick accent was extremely rude!! Been going to this eye doctor for over 5 years now and I've never been treated so poorly by a staff member. I'm not sure if they want repeat customers but if they do I'd recommend putting her somewhere out of sight and not dealing with the public.
