Montrose Eye Center Optometric

The first thing I had them check over the phone was if they took my insurance. They took my info over the phone, confirmed that my insurance is good, and made an appointment for the week after. Day of I walk in, they take my id and insurance, and have me sit down to fill out some forms as I am a first time patient. Five minutes to me filling out forms I do not see my insurance as one of the boxes to check and I have to bring it up to them. They then tell me that my insurance is not covered and that I would have to pay out of pocket. They didn't know why I was there and couldn't tell me what I'd have to pay for a first time consultation. I made the appointment with you, you have to know why I'm there and how much I have to pay. I gave all my information including symptoms prior to arriving. My time has been wasted completely.

I have been a patient of this eye center for about 2 years now. The first screening I had with this office went fine, just a basic eye exam. I went back in today because I was having some severe eye pain. I scheduled an appointment for 11 but wasn't seen until 11:30. I initially explained I was on my lunch break so I wanted to make sure I could get in and out pretty quickly. Though the technicians were very kind, they unfortunately seemed to be overwhelmed and understaffed. While I was there another gentleman stormed in yelling about his glasses being delayed. Another woman called in upset about her appointment not getting rescheduled. Very messy. I was finally seen by the doctor and he did a great job diagnosing my issue. However, when I went to leave, the technicians at the front decided that was the proper time to begin verifying my insurance. All in all I was there for over an hour only to be told that they were now out of network (even though they previously accepted my insurance) and they couldn't take my vision insurance because my reason for visiting was considered a "medical" visit and not "vision". $185 to be told I have severe dry eyes. I won't be coming back.

I needed someone to fix my glasses at about 5:00 pm. I walked in and they we're closing but Brianna said she'd stay late to fix the glasses - and at no charge! (It's normally about $20 elsewhere). She did a great job and I was impressed at the great customer service!

Another huge plus is their communication. They offer texting as an option, which is amazing for those who prefer messaging over phone calls. Scheduling appointments, asking questions, or following up has never been easier. What an easy and lovely experience! 1st of all I was greeted by the beautiful and charming Annette... Looking around everything is so neat and clean... Doctor F is very thorough, knowledgeable and professional... Along with a regular eye exam I also was fitted for contact lenses. The ones I had before Did not give me as much vision correction as the ones Prescribed for me here. The prices and the selection are amazing!!! Hands down the BEST Optometry experience I've EVER had! The customer service is a 100%! I highly recommend Montrose Eye Center!!!!!

If you need your glasses to be ready on time don't even waste your time. They told me it will be ready in 10 days or 2 weeks max now they are saying it is not ready after 3 weeks. Now I have to wait another week

Top notch people. Annette has an amazing sense of matching the style of glasses to the customer and is so helpful when it comes to the ins and outs of what you really need. A true gift to this office. She goes the extra mile in helping the customer (even pushed me into seeing the doctor again for an eye issue...so glad she did!) Dr. Fouladian is very knowledgeable and kind. So glad I stumbled onto this office. I've been going there for years & wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I had a wonderful experience at Montrose Eye Center. Making an appointment was easy. Annette at the front desk was so kind and helpful. The appointment with Dr. Fouladian was very thorough and he is extremely knowledgeable yet still personable. It was one of the best eye appointments I've ever had and I've been searching for a new optometrist the past few years. I will definitely be coming back.
