This was my first time with what I thought was a very concerning eye problem. I am so grateful for Dr. Merrill squeezing me in for my appointment. Dr. Merrill and the office personnel were all welcoming and kind. Dr. Merrill explained to me that I had posterior vitreous detachment (PVD). I was very worried and scared, but Dr. Merrill was calming and informative. Dr. Merrill gave me peace of mind and I am so thankful! Thank you Dr. Merrill and your staff for all the comfort you provide!!! You all are so appreciated!!! Many thanks!!!

Scheduling an appointment at the Pismo office was easy. The minute I walked in, I was welcomed, and everyone was incredibly nice. The doctor I saw knew exactly what was wrong with my eyes and now my eyes are doing so much better. Four doctors later and he knew right away what I had.

Horrible practice. Dr Speigal ignored an eye condition was so egregious that another Dr had to step in to address the problem. I'm so glad to find an excellent Dr outside of Pacific Eye.

This place is awful. If you can get past the hour long wait in the lobby with an appointment and the rude and off-putting receptionist you will be ushered into two other separate waiting tooms for 20 minutes each only to finally see the cornea specialist an hour and 40 minutes later who will cough directly in your eye several times and then prescribe ibuprofen for a terrible case of episcleritis. Scheduling a follow up appointment is a nightmare and what's there to follow up for but a very long and uncomfortable visit to their ineffective office? Two thumbs down.

Today I had an excellent experience at this office. Demi, the receptionist, was welcoming and helpful. Then I was taken into the exam room ahead of my scheduled time. That alone is very rare in today's medical environment. When Dr. McRee came in 5 minutes early I was even more impressed. He was nice, professional, and complete in his exam and explanation of it. He told me everything I wanted and needed to know about my eyes. I can't recommend this office and doctor enough!

Today I had an appointment with Dr Oh. She prescribed me a prescription and that is where the staff failed her. I have called several times and now the office is closed. No prescription has been sent to my pharmacy. That is poor quality health care. So sorry to experience that with such a reputable doctors office.
