This was my first visit with doctor Grant, positive experience with Dr. Grant. His excellent communication skills surely made the visit reassuring. It's commendable that he was so thorough in describing and diagnosing my issues. Having a doctor who excels in these areas can make a significant difference in patient care. I hope this excellent standard of care continues for myself.

Dr.Grant was not welcoming or informative, it was more of an interrogation than a informative experience, I was not expecting such a dismissive experience so unprofessional, he was questioning the fact my daughters lazy eye wasn't very obvious and would only need correction for esthetic reasons like if she didn't consider it a discomfort or he thought his opinion off of seeing her for a few minutes was enough to determine it wasn't a need more of a want for us to be requesting surgery, he asked her to explain how she felt and when she couldn't describe her exact history I intervened and asked him if I should explain further and with a very dry sarcastic tone said "someone give me more information" like if he couldn't address me, the fact that he didn't even make eye contact when I was talking to him was very disrespectful also and he was talking to us like it was a crowd, very weird interaction, I didn't want to feel like I was making the wrong assumption about how I felt that interaction but after reading the reviews I don't feel alone in how rude and insensitive this doctor is I should have told him to his face how he made me question my concerns for my daughters eye and how he should have requested all her information prior to booking our appointment instead of expecting a verbal history of her previous prescriptions and tests, we waited 3 months for this appointment after seeing a specialist within the same network and he just wasted the whole visit stating that he needed to do his own research, but only used a eye cover to check her vision didn't run an actual in-depth test on her other than a 3D glasses vision test. Very disappointed and left the office with more questions than answers, he prescribed drops for the day before the follow up appointment to dialate her eye a month from now but they don't have anything till January I feel like he could have done that today but they want to have you book more appointments. Honestly I will not be very quiet if he treats us the same way next time around that's if I decide not to look for a different provider being that he's trying to start from square one like he couldn't have ran any other tests instead of questioning the information that he already had obtained from the previous visit or the information he didn't even let me share with him. Hands down Zero stars for the doctor, need better social skills 100%

First time here and this visit was a waste of time. They ran tests for things unrelated to why I was visiting...as if I was there for eyeglasses. Dr. Grant was not helpful. He spent very little time with me and just kept telling me I had to go to a dermatologist to deal with the underlying cause. Noted and understood. When I asked him about help with the existing issue that I actually came in for, he wrote me a referral to another doctor. This is interesting since he was the Dr. I had been referred to by my PCP to help me with the issue. Don't know why I needed to see him if he wasn't the Dr. that could actually help. He seemed like he could care less and didn't seem interested in helping.

The front desk staff was unprofessional. I arrived with my mother and provided her name, but we were not greeted and werent told we were already registered. The staff continued talking among themselves instead of calling our name when we were ready to be seen. The doctor was dismissive and made us feel rushed. He continued speaking to my mother in English despite knowing that she only speaks Spanish.

This was my 1st eye exam with Dr. Grant- Acquah. He is professional, well manned, and highly educated. His exam was thorough and he explained his diagnosis in a easy to understand way. I would recommend his services to anyone needing to see a qualified Ophthalmologist.

He wasn't the most friendly person I have ever met and sorry to say but his breath smelled real bad and he talked tge whole time he was examining my eyes so I tried as best I could to not breathe it in.

He rushed me and continued to tell me that I don't need to be there seeing him. I just need an Optometrist, When I have history of cataracts, detached retinas , Glaucoma and eye pressure problems in the family and I have already had lens replacement in both eyes for cataracts at 40. I've always seen an ophthalmologist not him ever again

Dr. Grant was fantastic with caring and informing my mother-in-law, Ms. Spearman of her cataract surgery.
