My experience began about a year ago, and a recent issue today led me to finally write this review. The eye exam was rushed, and the doctor appeared irritated when I asked to re-compare options for clarity. When my glasses arrived, they were the wrong color. I was initially told the correct color could be rushed within a week, then later informed it was actually backordered for two months. Resolving this required repeated follow-ups and pushing for basic solutions, such as receiving the already-available pair as a temporary/loaner option. What ultimately prompted this review is that today, when requesting a copy of my prescription (to order glasses elsewhere), I was emailed someone else's prescription with their personal information on it. While I personally wouldn't mind if someone saw my prescription, others may reasonably view this as a mishandling of patient records and privacy.

Pretty frustrated with my most recent experience here. I've been a client for several years now, all I needed was my prescription renewed. I called to confirm that the eye exam would only cost my $20 copay. They said yes, scheduled my appointment. I spend all of about 10 minutes with an actual eye doctor (who was very kind!) and when I go to check out they tell me it's going to be $88. After the office manager called me back to explain, I paid for my $20 copay for my eye exam and also for the "contact" exam??? It feels really shady to me that I'm charged an additional $68 simply because I told them I wear contacts typically? Nothing was done different during my exam, and they did nothing to rectify the situation except offer to email me my prescription since no one provided that to me before I left. I will not be back and am pretty frustrated nothing was done to remedy the additional $68 charge. It shouldn't matter whether or not someone wears glasses or contacts, my eyeballs are still the same and the prescription is the same too!

Great eye exam experience, but they are certainly understaffed on the admin front. Hard to get someone on the phone during business hours and inconsistent in returning calls in a timely manner. I've been waiting for a week on a quote for my contacts and have not returned my call upon follow up.

Went in due to eye pain nearly four months ago, turned out there was a hair in my lower eyelid and Dr. Brian removed it. The next morning my upper eyelid was extremely swollen, and ended up having to go to urgent care over the weekend as it had nearly swollen shut. The infection is so deep that it keeps reoccurring. When I went back for them to look at it, Dr. Rob told me he thought it was cancer. I said that made no sense because it popped up immediately after my last appointment with them and he said that was just a coincidence. He put in a referral to an eyelid surgeon to have it removed but I was never contacted. I called Greenhaven Optometry to find out the name of the doctor they were referring me to but they wouldn't give me the name and just said the referral was placed. It's been two months since that appointment and l've heard nothing. Finally found a new doctor on my own and had surgery to have it removed. He said that the tools used to remove the hair in my eye initially likely weren't sterile, leading to the infection. This has cost me a significant amount of money to try to remedy and I am still in pain and attempting to recover. I would highly recommend avoiding this practice.

The staff is friendly but is admittedly understaffed. Staff were very apologetic for my wait, saying they were short staffed, though I hadn't really thought it had been that long. The equipment seemed very modern. I hadn't visited the optometrist in 10 years. They completed my checkup, and we quickly picked out a new set of glasses. I asked for a copy of my prescription, and they reacted like I was the first person whoever asked for this information. I've never been to an optometrist where i didn't leave with a little card summarizing my vision. She said she would email it to me. I called back two days later because they hadn't emailed it to me, and this time, they sent it. It had several errors, including the claim that I had 20/20 vision. Why do I need glasses then? My glasses arrived days later, when they said it would be weeks. I was impressed by this. I made an appointment for pickup, and when I arrived, there was nobody at the reception desk. I sat for 10 minutes, never seeing another human, and decided I needed to get back to work. I don't understand this place's nearly 5 star rating. I still don't have my glasses!

I first went to Dr. Brian in 2020, I had a eye exam and purchased a new pair of glasses. Great experience!! I loved the quality and comfort of my new glasses. This year I went back to get an updated eye prescription and new lenses, plus I wanted to get prescription sunglasses using my own Oakley half jacket frames. I've worn Oakley sunglasses for decades, so I am pretty attached to that brand for their comfort and functionality. Unfortunately, the lab was having trouble, the lenses were not passing their quality control, and it was taking a long time. When I asked the staff if I could go ahead a just have them returned and get a refund, Dr. Brian jumped into action to confirm the issues at the lab. I really wanted sunglasses before going on a month long vacation. Well, Dr. Brian began searching for frames that would meet my criteria, I was thinking that I would end up with something less functional and comfortable than Oakley. Dr. Brian suggested a particular pair of Ray Bans, I tried them on and they were just as comfortable as the Oakley's! I have been wearing them for a couple of weeks now, and I love them!!! I am so grateful to Dr. Brian going above and beyond to find the perfect solution to a disappointing situation. He was successful, I am 100% satisfied with the end product! A big thank you to Dr. Brian AND his very helpful and friendly staff!!!

My husband and I have been going to Omoto Optometry for many years and have nothing but positive things to say about the doctors and staff there. They have always taken their time with us explaining what they were doing, asking questions and answering all of our questions and concerns. We will continue going there.
