Insight Optometric (previously Vang Family Optometry)

This place has horrendous customer service. Every time you call be prepared for 20+ minute hold. I asked the same question 4 times, each time placed on hold again, to repeat my question again. At the end I was finally helped and was so simple it only took a minute. No surprise I come to leave this review and see the EXACT same experience in several other reviews dating back months. How does this keep happening? It's too bad I'm sure they're great

I have been trying to schedule an appointment for the last two weeks. Every time I call, the lady on the phone asks me to hold and never comes back, or says they will call me back which they never did. This is very poor customer service especially for appointment scheduling. If you can't provide services then don't waste people's time. Just say you don't offer the service instead of making people wait for callbacks that never happen. Worst optometry ever, anyone seeing this, don't waste your time on this optometry

Dr Vang was absolutely amazing with my Grandson She answered all of our questions and made him feel comfortable. Her office staff answered all my questions. Dr Vang dilated my Grandson's eyes and have him these temporary Black shades he thought we're super cool.

This place is horrible , I've called about 20 times left multiple voicemails to make my daughter an eye appointment that's urgent . I've had no return calls . Nobody pics up the phone when you call to schedule an appointment I had to drive 30 mins away to the office just to make an appointment for my daughter because no one answers the phone. On top of 2 receptionist at the front of the office with no busy customers , I don't understand why they do not answer there phones ! I highly dislike

Poor customer service The lady at glasses didn't even want to look into my case. Just dismissive and said to drop off glasses to waste my time going back and forth when the other person already said it got approved for adjustments.

My husband was sick and I woke up with a fever this morning. I called a couple hours prior to the appointment, and Insight Optometric charged me a "No Show" fee of $80.00. I've been with this company for years, since it was last known as Vang Family Optometry and they first opened in South Sacramento. Now I'm looking for another optometrist.

Dr. Vang is a truly exceptional optometrist. After struggling to find a good eye doctor in the past, I was relieved to discover her practice. She was incredibly patient during my appointment, thoughtfully answering all my questions and helping me select the most appropriate treatment for my condition. Her expertise and caring approach made the entire experience comfortable and reassuring.

Would love a hot cold water dispenser in wait room for guest, patients and their relatives,their children who are waiting. I'll send some magazines if I find any free ones. Yes it's an all women owned eye doctor & staff business. There just one big Hmong lady who keeps ignoring me when I came in for scheduled appointment when I was asking for help. Friendly nice employees. In last minute of test you'll get Tropicamide to dilate your eyes like a cat so the doctor can check your eyes left right up down for a couple seconds. You'll also receive a sunshade when you go out to protect your eyes from seeing bright lights. It should wear off in 24 hours if not go see an emergency hospital. Love the entrance,the cold,yes you can use the restroom just ask front desk. Wish the building would add a metal fence net on top stairs attach to the ceiling so no kids would fall off the edge. They do sell 25 cent window gel decorations at falling prices on Saturday if you might want to get yourself some for the windows. Recommend for all people but need insurance to cover. Recommend hmong community this is the only Hmong owned Optometrist but not all staff are Hmong.
