First off - the doctors here, Dr. Nakamura & Dr Lui are perfect. Dr Nakamura treats me like family and Dr Lui is very professional and personable. And the individuals that helped me with my eyewear - Amy & Yoyo - are VERY knowledgeable and they are not trying to "upsell" you. They are patient, and they take care of you. They really do help your money go a long way. They give you information so that you can make an informed decision. I have been coming to Natomas Optometry for a long time, despite being a long way to travel for an eye appointment, but I love how I am treated here and I will always come back.

I've been a patient here for about 8 years now and have always been treated with the best care and customer service. They really take care of their patients and are very thorough when it comes to your eye health and helpful when picking out the right frames or contacts. Shoutout to Amy and Dr. Lew for their amazing service.

I've been coming to Natomas Optometry for several years now, and my experience has consistently been excellent. The staff is always professional, attentive, and accommodating. I can't speak for other reviewers, but I've had nothing but great service every time. I especially want to highlight Dr. Lew, she went above and beyond to fit me with the perfect contact lenses for my eyes. I would definitely recommend Natomas Optometry to anyone looking for quality eye care.

Great experience, everything from the exam to the fitting to the bill! Great eye company. Took all the fear out of it. Got me a nice pair of Gucci glasses!

We have been coming to this site ever since we moved to Natomas. During Covid hours or operations changed and there were no weekend available appointments. We were always welcomed and accommodated. My husband and I work till 4:30 and it takes us 30mins to get to the office. Today 9/22/25 we were told by the receptionist that we have to be at the office no later than 4:00pm to get our glasses picked and ordered. There was no notice for the new changes in timing. We were also notified by the receptionist that they are also open on Saturdays. Which was also not shared with us nor any notifications were sent out by the office of change in office hours or Saturday openings. According to the receptionist Saturdays has been opened for a year now and we had our glasses done last year but there was no accommodation for Saturdays. This was very disappointing and very rude and abrupt way for the receptionist to let us tell about the changes. There was no professionalism found in the receptionist verbiage. My husband and I decided not to come to this office anymore. Until the gentleman decided to help and accommodate us. He politely acknowledged us and helped us. He did also say about time change and Saturday openings but no appointments for glasses. The reason they giving us is because of short staffing. When we walked in, there were 5-6 receptionist who all welcomed us but out of them 1 told us about timing and short staffed issues. However, the gentleman decided to help us and took all our information, pulled our chart/ paperwork and asked us to take a seat and one of their co-workers are going to help us. Which a lady came and helped us finally without hesitation. We left little satisfied but still disappointed with the behavior of the receptionist. I want to acknowledge Yo-yo and Annabella to assist us with our glasses. But I will still appreciate the receptionist to know their job and learn how to acknowledge ppl in a polite and calm way.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT COME HERE. The front desk staff is super rude and does not care about their patients. My husband and I have been seen at this office for years (due to convenience) and will not be coming back after the last encounter. There are multiple optometrist offices in the area that are much more welcoming and accommodating to their patients.

My second year using their services. Feel confident in their expertise. Dr. Charney is easy to work with during the assessment. Gurleen was so helpful in selecting new frames. Highly rec!

My husband took his glasses in to be adjusted. They weren't purchased at this location, that wasn't an issue when Anshu the assistant manager took them back to be adjusted. He was never warned that this could result in his glasses being so scratched that he could no longer use them. He was never warned that he would now have to purchase new glasses that he didn't need before. Because Anshu took them back and scratched them. He didn't notice until he was home because he uses his prescription sunglasses to drive. When he tried to bring this to the attention of the staff, Anshu then offered a 20% discount. He never wanted to purchase them in the first place. When he questioned her about it, she said that it must've happened when he left. First to scratch someone's glasses then to blame the victim and completely deny responsibility is another thing. She then tried to offer another 20% as if bargaining with us when we told her we were going to want to speak to the owner. I would 100% not recommend this establishment for glasses. Keep your possessions close and stay away from here.
