Norman Takeda & Associates

I had a great experience with Dr. Norman and the staff. Everyone was very helpful and patient, especially since I'm still fairly new to wearing glasses. They were thorough in making sure my vision felt like it used to, and I really appreciated how clear and straightforward the process was. I switched to this location because at my previous one I didn't notice much improvement, but here the difference was clear right away. They also took the time to explain everything and made sure I understood.

I've been meaning to write this for some time, so hopefully things have changed. I tried to make Dr. Takeda my regular optometrist when I lived in the Pocket. Support the locals and all of that. Never received follow-up reminders for regular exams. After 2 visits that both included cold chair-side manner, and similar customer service from the staff, I gave up. Frankly I wonder if Dr. Takeda is interested in providing care to non-Asians.

That's the worst terrible traumatic and nightmare customer service I never had been before in my life ( I am 60 years old now.) I tried to take my friend's kids to pick up their glasses before the office closed ( the office close at 5pm ). I called them before I left the house to let them know I was on the way , maybe a few minutes late due to my shift out at 4:30pm ( no other options), the staff said they close at 5:00 no later than 5pm, but there was one more person in the office and I don't know why they said, they closed at 5:00 sharp and we also live 30 minutes away. And I would not recommend it and I would give a 0 star review if there is an options. Never recommend to anyone I talked to staff to be flexible and exception on certain situation. They said NO exception of all. I said your business is bad, she said she didn't care, if you can't come then you don't have to come. Can anyone believe that????

12/19/2022. It was my first time appointment with Dr. Takeda. His staff greeted me and was very friendly and his assistant explained the eye test needed step by step. Then I was seen by Dr. Takeda he ask me about my health issues and if I had any eye issues and he explained each step of my I exam. I felt he took his time to get my eye prescription right . Excellent experience I would recommend Dr. Takeda to all of my family and friends and to you all reading my review.

I've been going here a long time. Dr. Takeda is friendly and professional, as are his office staff. Scheduling appointments is ready, and they go quickly and easily. They also are a great help selecting and adjusting eyeglasses.

My glasses broke and need a pair to see. They can't help for over a month. I can't just get a replacement because he wants a to do a whole visit... Sir I can't see thanks for the help

Been going here for years, great doctor, great friendly knowledgeable staff, and very nice eye wear selection. If you're looking for a new optometrist, this is the spot for you.
