Fast appointments and service. Just wish I heard more about follow-up and expectations on treatment. Had to visit Google to become informed. Info such as do get a ride for after the procedure. Or will i need to sit in the parking lot until I can see enough to drive home. After care; they did say i could work out. I lift weights even though i have gray hair and get on the treadmill for an hour.

Unprofessional staff that are poorly managed. My doctor recommended me to this clinic for a closer look at some scar tissue on my retina. From the moment an employee helped me she asked me what I was doing to get a hole in my retina. I was confused and told her I wasn't told I was in for a hole in my retina and that I had no symptoms of that. I was taken into the exam room and left waiting for a considerable time. Finally the doctor walks in an lays me down to look into my eye. She too asks about a hole, and I tell her that isn't what my doctor told me. She was surprised at this. When she finally looks into my eye, she asks why my pupils aren't dilated. I asked if my pupils were supposed to be dilated because no one ever gave me the drops. After administering the drops, I was left to wait again. When they returned and looked in my eyes again, she decided I was not dilated enough. I received another 3 burning drops, now up to 6. Once more I waited, once more they came back. Only to tell me my eyes weren't dilated enough. 9 total eye watering drops and who knows how long having to wait for them. By the end of it my eyes were so sensitive to light I couldn't stand the doctor's light and my eyes could not stop watering and closing from discomfort. She still had the nerve to tell me to keep my eyes open otherwise there's no point to the exam. Awful experience and I hate that I have to still pay them money for it.

The absolute worst front door desk staff ever. I spent weeks calling back and forth with this office having sutter send fax after fax for the referral. You could only get through in the morning, after that the phone is just on hold for hours. When you do get through the lazy front desk staff won't check the incoming faxes and had no idea what they were doing. After a week of sending referrals she finally goes "wait your a sutter patient? Oh yeah we dont accept sutter..." To retinal, please hire better front desk people and fire the current staff.

Let me start by saying the DOCTOR was AMAZING and so was the medical assistant. The clinic was a totally different story. My elderly mother has an autoimmune disorder and they repeatedly tried to cram her into a super tiny room with zero circulation and people coughing and sneezing. When the entire front waiting room was open. The front desk staff were the WORST. I asked for a mask in a very respectful manner. She didn't say one word to me, not a "sure" or "you're welcome". Perhaps the worst part was one of the front desk STAFF was COUGHING AND HACKING UP MUCUS THE ENTIRE TIME WE WERE THERE. LOUDLY. NO mask, NO tissues, NO covering of the mouth. So gross, so dangerous, so unprofessional. The office manager needs to be held accountable. My Mother will definitely be going to this clinics other office. If my Mom gets sick from this place we're gonna be having a conversation.

Everyone was very pleasant and skilled and made me feel comfortable.

The eye care is quality. BUT, the receptionist team talks very loudly amongst themselves, sharing thoughts about patients for others to overhear, even referring to a patient as "Humpty Dumpty" after he walked out of the office. Their office talk & joking amongst each other is unprofessional as those of us waiting in the lobby can hear every word. A phone call was coming in and one of the receptionists shared that she wasn't picking up a call because she had recently taken a phone call that took 35 minutes. Sadly, patient priority or concern was certainly not evident from the front desk team.

A nurse at this surgery center, didn't have a patent that has had cirrhosis of the liver since 1991 not have any bloodwork to determine if I was healthy enough to have a second surgery, a surgery knowing patent is traveling a long distance didn't have necessarily staff. Costing 10 hours driving. Then on Dec 20 th got patent mixed up due to not bothering to check date of birth. Causing patients blood pressure to go up for enough to burst my main artery entering liver. It almost cost me my life. And did cause me to never trust this incompetent medical faculty. Wish I could have name of nurse to complain to try to get nurse removed so she can't hurt anyone else. Doctors are good but staff not so much.

Dr. Chang is great, but the wait times here are always ridiculous. Be prepared to wait at least an hour before you even get called back to the 2nd waiting room ...
