I love this place! I have very unusual prescriptions and they were so patient and helpful trying to help me find contacts that would work for me. I never felt like I was bothering them when, yet another option didn't work out. I've had a couple different doctors at this location and both were amazing! They even remember who I am! Very upbeat, friendly, personable and clear in explanations. It is extremely clean and a positive place to go! I highly recommend!

Just had my first appointment and what a great experience. From the receptionist to the doctors- everyone was very friendly and informative. Dr. Ly was very personable, funny, and explained all details pertaining to my contacts/vision/future options. Having Keratoconus can feel very isolating and scary so it leaves a lasting impression when a company can provide services not only for this specific vision issue but also go above and beyond to help you see clearer and feel supported!

I had a great experience here with Dr. Rembleski and all the staff! The whole process was efficient and I wasn't left waiting in the reception area or patient rooms forever like you usually experience in healthcare. Dr. R addressed my eye concerns and found a more economical solution than the expensive contacts I was in before. Staff was able to give me precise information on cost for all of my services and helped me pick out some great glasses in my budget! I usually buy my contacts and glasses online but I bought them here instead because of the great experience and affordability.

Wonderful experiences here. This has been my Optometry office for over 6 years and has been the greatest experience I've ever had. The doctors and staff are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They explain everything and offer all the options available. I love the semi-rigid lenses I have. My partner loves his glasses. I highly recommend this office to all of my friends and family.

I came here because my insurance changed and I needed a new eye doctor. The doctor himself was cool, the visit was quick, easy, and professional. I can't say the same for the staff. I haven't been there in a year, but I am looking for somewhere else to go because the staff have never been very helpful. I vividly remember these experiences because every interaction left me so frustrated. After my eye exam visit, I wanted to get a pair of glasses. I was looking at frames, and a lady popped out of the back section to ask me what I was looking for and then told me to let her know if I had any questions. She seemed helpful and nice but then she disappeared into the back right after saying all this. There weren't any other patients in the waiting area, just two other employees in the reception area not paying any attention to me. By the time I did have questions or want to look at something else, I couldn't flag down the lady who disappeared, and neither of the employees outside seemed to care to help me find her. I asked one of them to flag her down and after a wait, she came out eventually, answered my question about some frames and then disappeared into the back again. I kept looking around but to be honest, I got kind of tired of the cycle of standing around waiting ten mins or so for her to pop up again just to answer a question and then disappear, so I gave up on getting frames. After this, I went and asked one of the ladies at the reception area about getting contacts instead. She answered that the lady in charge of that had left for the day, and to call back and come back to pick up a pair of trial lenses on another day. At this point I was kind of over it, so I just left without ordering anything. I would up just ordering frames online- I needed my prescription info, so I emailed them asking for it and it took a little over a week to get a response back from them. I wasn't even going to leave a review, but this last incident was infuriating. In November, I had an incident when I was traveling out of town in which I scratched both of my corneas. I went to the ER for care, and they told me to see my eye doctor and try to schedule a follow up with an opthalmologist within the week. This wasn't a casual injury either, I couldn't see out of both of my eyes and was basically blinded for the time being. I emailed the office on a Sunday explaining that I had abrasions on both of my corneas, was given antibiotics, and required a follow up and a referral to an opthalmologist within the week. They didn't get back to me until Thursday, and in the email, no care, no concern or recommendation to be seen, and no mention of how to get a referral. Their email response was only about WHICH opthalmologist they refer their patients to and nothing else. I don't know if it's just their system, or what, but the people working there just really really don't seem to care, which is a shame because the office itself is so nice, and the doctor I had seemed really good.

I'm very disappointed in the experience I have had with River City Optometry over the past year. My first visit was over a year ago. The doctor was more focused on telling me how beautiful my eyes were and touching my leg. Even if he didn't mean anything by doing that, it made me uncomfortable. I told the office after I left and they apologized. They told me I could see a different doctor next time. I agreed to this. I called a few weeks later and told them the prescription felt a little off, but they told me my eyes were just adjusting. I believed them. Flash forward: I went in for my check up last week and the doctor who helped me was friendly and professional. However, he informed me that my prescription was too strong by a whole diopeter. And the prescription was made by the previous doctor who appeared to be too distracted to give me the correct prescription. So I've been wearing the incorrect lenses for a year now. To top it off, I had to be the one to ask for my receipt and presciption after making my payment. They told me that my eye sight could have possibly gotten better. I'm sorry but you're telling me it improved by a whole diopeter in a year? I am upset that not only were they unprofessional, but negligent too.

I have been a patient with these doctors for close to 30 years. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. For me it is important to have a doctor that is very good at what they do and these doctors know how to take care of your vision. I recommended a friend who was having problems getting a good fit for her prescription and fitting for contacts. After visiting River City, she got the right prescription and fit for her contract lenses. She had been to several other doctors and River City was the only doctors that got it right. After going the River City, her vision was the best it had been in over 20 years. If you want the best quality eye care in the area, you should choose River City.

I have worn glasses almost all my life and have seen a few optometrists in that time, but none compare to Dr. Rembleski. I don't trust my eye care to anyone else. He is always kind and makes you feel so comfortable. He takes the time to listen and gives a thorough exam. He and his staff are first-rate. I highly recommend!
