Don't send your patients here. They never answer phone calls or communicate to patients. We will not be sending anyone here anymore as it is unfair to our patients and our referral team. If you're stuck with this place, I would call their Roseville location as they actually know what work ethic is.

God help you if you get referred to this clinic by your insurance. I did and never got a phone call and whenever I tried to call for weeks now, Noone answers or returns your calls after leaving dozens of.messages. I read the other reviews here and there all true, try to convince your insurance to send you to a different clinic! This one doesn't want business or patients.

It was very safe and cared experience getting lasik from here. Dr. Jacob did my surgery and i think he was the best for it. Dr. Liang and Dr. Huynh and Rachna, they really took care of my eyes with follow up appointments. I am honestly grateful getting my lasik here.

Don't do it. Maybe they're pivoting, but with the number of staff I encountered no one was willing to ensure follow up. 2 at the front desk, one tech and a doctor who said she had no one to complete the last test to complete the eval. First time I contacted Royo I made an appointment for my husband, then asked for a Lasix consult for me. They sent us both to the others appointment at different ends of town and turned us both away. Mind you I went to both north and south sac locations to be turned away twice that day. Clarification on when our appts were actually scheduled was given to both of us that day. Now my appt was 2 weeks later-ish for a Lasix consult and they didn't have a tech to perform a test I needed to complete the evaluation to see if I was a good candidate. Then I was told the staff person, who was out that day, would call me the next business day would reach out to complete the evaluation. WELL....my appt was 8/26/25. It's now 9/20/25 and no one has made an attempt to reach out. That says it all.

They never returned my voicemails asking to schedule an appointment, similar to many other reviewers. And when I call the phone only rings a couple times and then I get sent to voicemail, so there's no option to wait on hold to speak to anyone.

it's as if the front staff is allergic to picking up the phone call. i've been calling 2+ days to reschedule an appointment for my fathers eye exam and they never picked up. went in person and they made me wait an hour before they could attend to me because the front desk ladies were busy giggling. i recorded the whole thing to show my friends and family of how pathetic it was. this used to be a great office back in the day but the newer staff just has zero work ethic and makes everyone else look bad.

At first I had a really bad experience with the office phone. But after giving up from half a day trying to get through to the office, and call center which you get if no one answers couldn't help at all or knew if office was closed or open. Somebody at call center had managed to leave a message and they called me, which was very appreciated. They mentioned they had staff sick. And next day I got right through. It would be nice if I could simply have left a message for a call back, like many other places offer.
