If you're particular like me and aren't satisfied with the normal chain store inventory, I highly recommend this place. It's small with boutique vibes, but well worth it. It's also super mellow in there too. Nobody breathing down your neck trying to get you pick something, buy, and go.

Excellent selection, great service and great workmanship. My story, needed to upgrade my prescription but loved my frames. Other place told me that I needed to buy new frames. A friend highly recommended "That Guy Eyewear" and service was excellent and my request was satisfied. Dropped by yesterday and Dennis was kind enough to fix a badly bent hinge for me. So glad I found this neighborhood shop just a few blocks from me. Will be headed back when it's time for replacements.

Went in to check them out and Dennis was very personable and helpful and knowledgeable in helping me pick out a pair of glasses at the time I was also getting ready for the chalk it up festival at Fremont park Labor Day weekend and Dennis happened to sponsor a square for me to represent his store in the festival he donated a $250 to square for me to do a design for him this is the design I came up with.

I followed Dennis' biz from Old North Sacramento to Oak Park and continue to get excellent service & quality, unique frames.* I switched from Warby Parker (loyal since 2012) to That Guy without a hesitation. Dennis's selection of cool, unique frames makes every other shop I've been to straight kitsch in comparison. Dennis's genuinely thoughtful and effective customer service exceeds any experiences i can recall. The man knows what he's doing; he's a true expert in frames that work for individual faces. His customer appreciation events and trunk sales are AWESOME, but I might be admittedly more wooed by his handwritten invitations, on which he includes truly personal touches. The frames I bought from him garner compliments constantly, and my partner's specs& sunglasses get even more reactions. Shopping local feels good, and shopping Dennis makes you look cool.

My wife and I went in to see what all the rave reviews were about and now we know. This place had dozens of glasses that not only fit me but were super cool and modern. I have a big round face so most times I am lucky if I find 1 pair at an eyewear place. I felt like I hit the jackpot in eyewear fashion. My wife found several pairs that looked really fantastic on her as well so now we can both shop in one place. Dennis has superb customer service skills and we felt like royalty in his shop. We will definitely be shopping here from now on. That Guy Eyewear does NOT disappoint!
