I appreciate their attention to detail. They offer their customers tea, coffee, water while you wait. They are very kind and have all of the resources!! Dr. Lassa Frank is a great guy. Explains and teaches me how to use and clean my glasses and my contacts. It's always a pleasure.

Some staff are nice and considerate. They don't take benefit cards and they once did. Negative vibes in the office.. The doctor was nice and I did get decent service. Moving on.

I found the team here to be exceptional. At short (almost zero) notice at a busy time of the year, they assisted with specialist replacement contact lenses. Friendly, timely, and very accommodating service, thank you.

As a new patient I was totally pleased with my first visit! Everyone in the office was friendly and welcoming. Dr. Frank was very thorough in his examination of my eyes and took plenty of time to discuss my concerns and answer my questions. When it came to looking for glasses frames, I was delighted with both the selection of fun and reasonably priced frames and the low key help and advice I received from Craig. I'm a very happy patient and definitely plan to use Mt. Tam Optometric Center for my future eye care and eye wear!

From the git go I liked this place. Phone friendliness to actual exam and visit was a really good experience. I'm new to this practice and I expected the standard check in and exam. front office and techs smoothly ushered me through The registration and data gathering exams in prep for Dr Lassa. Truly, in my lifetime of wearing glasses, no doc has spent the time to explain and show what he's doing. Dr Lassa is clearly enthusiastic about his work and eager to help his patients make informed decisions about their eye care. Bravo to Dr Lassa and all the people at Mt Tam Optometric Center. I will be back.

The overall office organization/staffing needs improvement. When I walk in, I see a ton of paper files everywhere, I literally think patient records are stored on paper instead of electronically. I called asking for a PDF of my prescription so that I could buy contacts elsewhere and they put me on hold for five minutes while they tried to find my records. I hung up and called back later, and they told me they had "misplaced" my records. So now I don't have an active prescription even though I had an appointment last week. I just don't trust that their records are accurate; the doctor also seemed to have the wrong information about my prescription when I went for an appointment.

Glasses become loose so often and I am told that I would have to come in every time to fix it cos if I tried adjusting it and it broke, the warranty wouldn't cover it. The optometrist guy is so impatient and unapologetic even though he says "I'm sorry you feel that way!" I spent a lot of money on my glasses and am not encouraged to return. Oh and I arrived there 15 minutes early to my appointment and was happy to wait. I didn't expect to be attended to. The optometrist guy seemed really annoyed that I was early. Is this typical in customer service?

No wonder contacts had never worked for me before: Because I'd never been to see Dr. Frank. This guy is amazing. Fun, hip, modern, cool and he's great at what he does. He had me try on a number of options, wear them for a week, adjusted the lenses, adjusted the numbers until we both settled on the final option. He's just that good. His staff rocks too. They are young, polite, modern hipsters with cool senses of humor. And patient too. They seem to love what they do, and they're good at it. I cannot say enough about Dr. Frank. He has changed my life and my vision forever.
