Was looking for a place that would make my motorcycle glasses insert piece to hold my prescription.. after 12 other locations said no, I found Hollywood.. they did the prescription inserts and they work great. very friendly people.. I would definately recommend this location to other motorcycle riders looking to get prescription inserts on their riding glasses. FM.

I purchased two sets of lenses for frames that I provided to them a year ago. I was so pleased , that I purchased three more frames for them to complete. The prices are reasonable. The customer service is great.

I took my old trusty Raybans sunglasses to Hollywood Optical lab to see if they could change the lenses to prescription lenses since Costco couldn't do it. When I met Dave at the shop he told me right away that they could do it. All he needed was a copy of my latest prescription. I got the sunglasses about a week later and the lenses were perfect! It's great to be able to where sunglasses and see clearly. Thanks Dave and everyone else at the lab that helped.

I just completed a very frustrating and unpleasant 15 month pain in the neck with Hollywood Optical. In December of 2017, I had ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses. Very expensive $300 lenses with progressive bifocals. When they came in everything was out of focus except the distance. To make a very long story a little shorter, over the next 13 months they remade the lenses three times. Each time they got a little better, but they were still useless. The only thing that was clearly in focus was the far distance. I was dealing exclusively at this point with Dave the owner/manager. The frustration was exacerbated by having his cell phone number but not getting any responses from calls or texts and he was rarely there when I stopped in. He also never got back to me when he said he would. I had to keep trying to chase him down to find out what was happening. He expressed being completely baffled at the issue. I finally went in today and asked him to just take the prescription lenses out and put the original sunglass lenses back into my beautiful Brighton frames. I gave up. Although I had paid $305 for these lenses, he only refunded me $100. Granted it was better than nothing, but given that I was phenomenally patient with this company, even when they blew me off, he should have had the class to refund all of my money. I have worn progressive lenses for 20 years and have purchased them at LensCrafters and Costco and have never had any problems. They may do single vision glasses just fine but if you have progressives or bifocals, go somewhere else. I always prefer to patronize small independently owned businesses rather than the big chains. But in this situation it was a mistake. At least the big chains stand behind their work.

I try to support small businesses and the owners here make it a great experience. Costco wouldn't do the lenses for my sunglasses so the optometrist recommenced this place. Very competitive pricing and they came out perfect. Easy parking right in front of the door!

Hollywood Optical Lab is the best. They have fabricated six pairs of glasses over the past six years and the greatest Optical company I have ever found. Good quality work Dave.

Awesome work and decent price compared to big box chains. Very happy with my polarized prescription.

This will be my second pair of sunglasses . Excellent service and workmanship
