I recently had eye examination from Dr Worrell and Dr Lee. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the expertise they provided. Today I'm very pleased with my new glasses based on the prescription they devised. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised with thoroughness, kindness, and the quality service I received from Mrs Gina. She is one of a kind! I highly recommend Advance Vision Center.

I've had 35 years of great experiences with optometrist Dr Burton Worrell of Advance Vision Center. Contact lenses and glasses. At one point Burt put me on a program called orthokeratology, which uses contact lenses to shape the cornea and improve my vision over time. I chose this path because I wanted better vision but didn't want the risk of radial keratotomy surgery. As of today, I can go without contacts or glasses unless I drive or watch a movie. This is a FANTASTIC outcome. Burt has always been on top of the latest ways to use technology to evaluate my vision and eye health. For example, early on he used a special camera to photograph my retinas. At the start it wasn't covered by my insurance (it is now), and he kept his pricing low (no source of profit here!) so that I could benefit from this advanced diagnostic. Turns out the photos never showed any problems, for which I'm grateful, but it was good to monitor for potential problems like macular degeneration because years later, my mom developed it. Way better to know of a problem early on! These days insurance reimbursements are low, leading many doctors to rush their patients or over-schedule patients. Burt didn't get the memo. He is usually on time, and has always spent the time I need. I tend to ask lots of questions. :^) Burt's staff is professional and courteous, and very much on top of things like insurance and scheduling. Burt is a great optometrist and a great person.

Our whole family has been going to Advance Vision from the start. From Dr. O and now Dr. Shin for us. Always a great experience and friendly staff!

This is the most professional and honest business I have been to! I've been coming here for several years with my family! I will not go to another eye doctor because Dr.Worrell is the best doctor there is around! Everyone at the front desk is super friendly and welcoming! The people who work on my frames are super intelligent and knowledgeable about what is going on with the lens and how to fix the frames! He has gone to the most extreme lengths to make sure my family and I are happy and healthy! I HIGHLY recommend coming here for all your eye needs! They have the most advanced machines here and give the best care to all their customers!

Doctor James S. Shin, O.D. And his assistant Miss. Zaida optician helped me soo much find beautiful sun glasses.. I've been coming here 15 years as well as family and friends. The team here has helped me get the beautiful eye glasses, best contacts, modern eye care , and the coolest sunglasses with care and awesomeness .

A complete disappointment. Then aware I call them they don't pick up the call.The only benefit of using them is because they work Saturdays, but that's all. The one pair of lenses I ordered of them was fine. The recipe they gave my partner was too strong.So they can't use it. The pair of glasses they I ordered from them is a complete disaster I don't see anything in them. They redo them recipe but still I see nothing. I tried to refocus my eyes but everything is blurry

Great doctor but poor customer service and fraudulent selling practices. I have been going to Advanced Vision for 10 years seeing Dr. Shin but after being ripped off I won't be going back. I think he is very competent and personable but the front office is a mess. I got a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses and paid almost $400 for them in May 2015. They gave me headaches from day 1 and so I brought them back. They adjusted the prescription and remade them with the same result. Cindy and Kerry said they couldn't do anything else. They never offered me a frame exchange on $250 frames which is Maui Jim policy. I went in to get another pair a year later when I had insurance coverage and they offered me a measly 20% discount for a new pair but that pair was going to be $471, $100 more than last time. Liz had the nerve to say I never should have had my last pair because of my astigmatism but would not make any adjustments to correct for THEIR mistakes. For the last two years Cindy mis bills my insurance by billing my exam and glasses under my wife's name. They correct it but can't seem to prevent it from happening each time I go in. Last year they also overcharged my wife on her glasses and I found out when I got the explanation of benefits from my insurance. I was issued a refund after calling their office multiple times. They also layer on lots of add-ons that aren't covered by insurance to make the prices even higher. There are lots of options for optometrists and this is not one to consider unless you like overpaying for poor quality work.
