Branham Family Eye Care

I came here as a new patient for my annual eye exam and to get new glasses. I was extremely impressed. This was definitely one of my best optometrist experiences, mainly because of how well organized the office is. I arrived at my appointment time, and I was warmly greeted, and immediately taken into a room for various tests. The person doing the tests was friendly and extremely efficient. When that was done she took me immediately into the exam room, where the optometrist came right in, warmly welcomed me, and went through the exam in a friendly and efficient manner. She talked with me about what I wanted (progressive lenses, for the first time in my life), what my experience with them would be like, etc. When that was done, I was taken out to the glasses selection area where the person running that operation asked me what type of frames I wanted, and picked several for me to try, and helped me finalize my selection. I came back a few weeks later to pick up my glasses where the person helped me adjust them so they fit perfectly. I was extremely impressed by how friendly, professional, and efficient this office and the people working there are. That is exceptional among medical providers and optometrists.

I was very much disappointed after my visit to this eye care office. The staff are very impolite and definitely do not care about your time. Make yourself a favor and choose another place.

My experience with Branham Family Eye care was amazing. They listened to me and really tried to find a solution. The staff were also kind and welcoming. Truly a great experience!

Sad to downgrade but this office is sooo expensive compared to other OD offices in San Jose.I don't appreciate how they upsell stuff not covered through insurance.(check yelp reviews others have mentioned upselling unnecessary tests) It takes forever waiting in the waiting room.One time it took over half hour.The turnover of their eye doctors is high.I HATE how all the glasses are locked up.It's also painful to patiently wait for your eyeglasses to come in and then another appointment is necessary for adjustments.So frustrating.Considering their high prices,turnover,long waiting times and lack of customer focus surprised at the high ratings. Every year I come in and there's a new doctor,fresh out of college

The office staff was very friendly and helpful, never pressured me to buy anything, and made me feel very comfortable. Doctor Jessica Clark was amazing. She explained everything she was doing, as well as what she was seeing. I've been to multiple eye doctors over the past 20 years trying to find someone I felt was knowledgeable and trustworthy, but have had no luck until now. Dr. Clark was the first doctor who could explain my symptoms and provide any helpful suggestions. I would highly recommend Branham Family Eye Care to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and informed eye care team.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but the eye doctor did not provide me the care that I needed for my Son. Dr. Chow saw my son, and as he entered the room I could tell from that moment that it wasn't a welcoming environment as it was pleasant when we arrived and checked in. The doctor was running late and rushed the exam. He wasn't professional about the explanation of my son's prescription when I asked multiple questions. He seemed stressed from the moment we saw him, and it made my son as well as myself as a parent uneasy. It was my first time going to a private eye doctor, and the care that was provided was worse than going to Costco or Walmart. I would not recommend this office for a simple exam for glasses. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the doctor needs to learn to take his time and be professional. The reason going to a private office for my son was crucial, and all we received was a fast paced exam with no professionalism. We will not be coming back as well as my company colleagues since we just got a new vision insurance company through V S P.

We have been using Branham family eye care for two years now. Been very happy with the quality of service. The doctors are great as are the front office people who help pick out glasses and frames. I go in frequently for tweaking and tightening my frames and they are always prompt and super helpful. Highly recommended.

Great procedures for keeping people safe. It was nice seeing them sanitize everything we used beforehand. My only criticism is that certain parts of the eye exam may have been skewed since my breath from my mask was fogging up the equipment causing half the screen for the peripheral vision test to be blurry and for the prescription test (better with 1 or 3) having certain lenses blurry so maybe I wasn't choosing the one that was actually clearest but the one less foggy. I totally understand face masks/shields are absolutely necessary during these times, I just think we need to come up with some creative alternatives/ solutions for situations such as these so that we can feel confident that our results are accurate. Other than that the staff was great and service excellent as always!
