I had been misdiagnosed at the emergency room and had been in a lot of pain and discomfort. Once I explained my situation they made sure to fit me into their already busy schedule as a new patient ASAP. Dr. Contreras & his medical team were all very friendly and helpful. Dr. Contreras quickly made me feel at ease. I felt confident that I was receiving expert care I especially loved how Dr. Contreras took his time to explain my condition with me as well as my treatment options. Doctor Contreas is a very caring and is thorough in his examinations. He explains everything to you and is more than happy to answer any of your questions. He takes his time and doesn't rush you out. To me this is very important, this means that he cares for his patients not like some doctors that just want to get as many as they can through the office daily $$$.
I'd say he is very well respected for his dedication to his patients and their eye care.

From staff to Dr. Contreras my experience was nothing short of excellent. The staff was so pleasant, professional and efficient for all three of my office visits.
Everyone knew exactly what they were doing and did their job well. From handling my insurance to testing my eyes I really felt like I was the most important person in the office and then to receive a smile and good wishes on top of that, it just made me feel good and that I was well cared for and I need not worry about a thing.
Dr. Contreras is an outstanding professional. He performed well on me and my vision is 100% better. Dr. Contreras and his staff helped to guide me to the right decision to have a multi-focal lens for cataract surgery and I just couldn't be happier. Dr. Contreras corrected my astigmatism just as he said he was going to do and, wow, what a difference in just one day after the surgery..
