The doctors are very thorough and take the time to explain what they're doing and why. They are not only knowledgeable but also kind and caring which is so refreshing now a days. All the staff is really amazing! When picking out frames Edwin has a great instinct for style and really takes the time to go through however many frames you've chosen! And I have often filled the table! His perspective, positive attitude and laughter have always made my visits very uplifting which leaves me with a sense of confidence when I leave. Sad to say not many places leave you with that feeling anymore so it's refreshing. I've more than often found the smaller business's are the best and I can't recommend Crest Optometry enough. Trust me, you'll feel the difference, give them a try!

I wish I had switched to Crest Optometry years ago! We had been going to a nearby optometry office out of convenience, but were never fully satisfied with the care we received. Dr. Pham was incredibly caring and attentive with both my daughter and me. She took her time during the eye exam, performing a thorough check-up and making sure my daughter felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire visit! Choosing new frames has always been the most stressful part for me, but thanks to Dr. Pham and her team's expertise, I left with the lightest, most comfortable frames I've ever owned! Highly recommend Crest Optometry and we'll definitely be coming here for years to come!

Dr. Pham very friendly and knowledgable! I ended up taking my senior father to see her- Dr. Pham was very thorough with my dad's exam and he was impressed how she took her time and he didn't felt rushed and was able to ask his questions. Dr Pham too the time to listen to my dad and provided suggestions and OTC eye wash to help him, (he's had this issue for years) something his previous providers suggested or mentioned. All the staff at Crest are friendly and helpful when I had to pick out my glasses and took their time to assist me.

For my first eye exam in the South Bay Area, I absolutely loved Crest Optometry! Dr. Pham was most excellent to work with. She is clearly experienced, completed my exam efficiently and very thoroughly explained my scans to me. The office was bright and cheery and her staff were very kind and easy to work with. I would 100% recommend Crest Optometry!

She was just as thorough and took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed. She truly went above and beyond to make the experience easy and comfortable. On top of the excellent care, they're also fantastic at helping you find the perfect pair of frames. They took the time to help me find something that not only fit my facial structure but also matched my style--something I really appreciated. I was out of state and visiting my family in the Bay Area when I had an emergent eye concern that would risk my vision. I saw Dr. Pham as a last minute drop in and she thoroughly assessed me while educating me about my condition. Dr. Pham is a great optometrist, has a lovely bedside manner, and really cares for her patients. I would follow her to any office that she is at and do think she knows her stuff. Unfortunately, her office staff and office manager are incredibly unprofessional and rude, which sets the atmosphere for your experience before and after your service. The office manager, Dedi, billed my insurance incorrectly for a new patient visit in 2021. The claim was denied because the service they billed did not match the place of service it was performed. They essentially tried to bill an outpatient service (the appointment) at an inpatient facility. I pleaded the office manager to correct and resubmit the claim in order for my insurance policy to reprocess it. My insurance assured me in writing that I had no financial responsibility to them until that was resubmitted. After months of lots of back and forth with the office manager, they did not do anything to rectify the claim and instead bullied me over the phone for 2 more months and faulting my personal 'character' for an unwillingness to pay instead of taking any accountability for their billing and administrative error. I ended up paying the bill again and being double billed just for them to stop harassing me. A cost worth it since I truly wanted nothing to ever do with them again. The total amount was over $540 for an eye checkup and follow up. Fast forward to 2025, they called me again asking for more money from the service in 2021. Once again, they disrespectfully took jabs at my personal character for not paying something I never received a bill for until now. Overall, I am disappointed that a great medical provider is reflected by this kind of team and disorganization. I highly do not recommend this office and advise everyone to be cautious of their billing scams.

I've never once had a problem with the optometry services or the staff running the front office who are all competent and helpful. I used this office for 2+ years; However, I strongly discourage you from buying any products (glasses, etc) from this office as it is exorbitantly overpriced. My experience: I found a pair of frames priced at $320 in their shop which was 128% higher than competitive retail shops. If you include my $125 insurance allowance, and the "20%" discount offered, they still earn 100% premium above competitor retail shops. My price comparisons are retail - not wholesale. Lenses were priced at $125, and AR/UV/Anti-scratch coatings + polished edges priced at $140, which is 117% and 182% higher than competitor retail. Now... my insurance covers lenses and coatings in full, so I have no problem with exorbitant billing to my insurance, but when I asked for equal match on frames, they were unwilling to negotiate. Best part is that they offered me a greater discount last time I purchased sunglasses, which they were also unwilling to match in order to make the purchase "fair." The message they communicated to me that day was an unwillingness to match competitor retail frame prices (despite the lense premiums they would have received), and the value they place in me as a 2+ year customer. I'm happy to let them earn 20-30-50% premiums (for the convenience), but 100% premiums compared to competitor retail exceeds my own ethical business standards.

I highly recommend Dr. Tina Chang as the best eye doctor I have ever come across. She is thorough with her analysis and truly cares about her patients. The organization, cleanliness, and customer service at her office are spot-on perfection. I had a wonderful experience during my visit to Dr. Chang's office with my husband. I was not expecting a long visit (this was a good thing!), but Dr. Chang found swelling in the back of my eye that could have been harmful to my brain, and she immediately got worried. She went out of her way to call my doctors and inform them of the situation. I was surprised that my previous eye doctors had not detected this problem, but I am grateful to Dr. Chang for her diligence and expertise. She is an exceptional physician, and I highly recommend her office for anyone seeking high-quality care.
