Dr. Bart A. Carey, MD

Dr. Bart is an exceptionally gentle and compassionate doctor. He takes the time to listen and makes you feel at ease during every visit. His medical skills are outstanding, and his calm, professional manner inspires trust. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for excellent care.

Be careful with this clinic. The doctor writes off the bills as medical instead of vision so your primary insurance is charged instead of the vision insurance even though you just got an eye exam! You wouldn't be able to control or know any of this info until you explicitly talk to a representative on call when the bill arrives which is too late by then and also you wouldn't be told about any of the charges before hand.

I went to 3 eye physicians before seeing Dr Carey. All 3 gave me different diagnosis. One saying I needed surgery but very costly, one saying that I did not need surgery, the other one with giving me eye drops and come back in a year or so. They all left me with more questions than help. I was so discouraged and frustrated. I saw Dr. Carey's site and decided to see him. The best thing that I ever did. He has such a wonderful bedside manner. Upfront and honest with me. I had 2 surgeries with him, 1 for the right eye, and then 1 with the left eye 2 weeks later. I cannot express enough how satisfied I was with the whole process. He was great. My eyesight is a 100% better. What a wonderful feeling to be able to see without blurring. The surgery consultant and scheduler Shawn was great too. Scheduling for all appointments to fit my schedule. Sight is so important. You don't want to chance it or give up. See Dr. Carey.

Most Excellent. Been going for years. Dr. Carey absolutely fabulous. He restored the vision to both of my eyes with Alcon lenses back in 2006 and 2008. I can see without glasses. Take my mom too, she's 96 now!!!!

Bart Carey, MD, is a very fine ophthalmologist. While it's true you sometimes have to wait a long time in his office, he is definitely worth the wait. My optometrist said it best when he examined my eyes after my cataract surgery: "Carey gets an A+ for how he placed the lenses. They are both perfectly placed."

I've been in great hands w/ Dr. George Hewes for ~20 years now. They so all the right procedures to keep my eyes healthy while keeping cost very reasonable. I can highly recommend these guys.
