Dr. Benny Shao, O.D., FCOVD San Jose Vision Therapy

My son recently completed OMST treatment with Dr. Benny Shao for his ADHD, and the results have been truly remarkable. Since finishing treatment, he has shown significant and lasting improvements--he experiences fewer headaches, less eye strain while reading, and most importantly, he feels calmer and happier. His emotional regulation has improved, and he's much less prone to frustration or mood swings. As a parent, it's incredible to see such positive changes in his daily life. Dr. Shao's expertise and approach have made a real difference, and I highly recommend him to anyone considering OMST.

My son's eyes prescription kept increasing year after year. His were minus 4.25 before we finally seeing Dr. Shao. After therapy followed with wearing orto-k his prescription remain the same now. He is also passionate and very knowledgeable about natural health and wellness too.

I have been to Dr. Benny Shao for almost a year now and have felt the tremendous improvement on my eye tracking issue. I am in a health care professional which requires to read lots medical literatures and studies. While I had the eye tracking issue I would get tired very quickly which made my read process really slow; however, after been seeing him for almost a year, i felt i can read faster and comprehend the information a lot quicker. I didn't know that nearsight can be fake or real until I talked with my friend about my daughter complained about her eyesight during the class when she was 10 years old. I, of course, don't want my daughter to wear glasses. Once you start wearing glasses, you can't go back! With my friend's referral, we saw Dr. Shao. After an eye exam and detailed explanation from Dr. Shaw, I learned that my daughter's problem could be solved with eye therapy. We followed his instruction to do eye therapy once a week for 20 weeks at his office plus home treatment every day, my daughter's eyesight problem got improved after 4 weeks. It's amazing and encouraging!! After she finished all her treatments, she doesn't need to wear glasses and is free to do any kind of sports she likes. And now she is almost 13, her eyesight still remains stable. I know it is not a regular optometrist can do, only a specialist can treat this kind of problem. Dr. Shao is very patience, detailed and caring. Highly recommended!!
