I highly recommend Dr. Jovkar! He did a wonderful job on my eye when I had a foreign object in my left eye. I was in pain, and he was able to schedule me on a weekend to address the issue promptly. His hands are incredibly delicate, making the procedure smooth and painless. Since then, I've continued under his care for glasses and regular eye exams, and I've been impressed with his accuracy in measurements--my new glasses have improved my vision significantly! Dr. Jovkar is extremely patient, compassionate, and attentive to his patients. His new office is state-of-the-art, providing a comfortable and modern environment for care. His office staff are very pleasant! He is a very highly skilled doctor and surgeon, and I feel confident recommending him to anyone seeking excellent eye care.

Dr Jovkar used to be my ophthalmologist several years ago. I always had to wait a long time to be seen, and he barely listened to my complains or eye issues and the appointments felt rushed. So, I switched to another doctor. Today I went to see him for some eye irritation. But as soon as he found out I went to see another ophthalmologist before him, he refused to see me (even though I came to him for a 2nd opinion). I had never experienced a doctor refusing to help a patient because he was not their first choice. Very disappointing experience.

Stay away from doctor Sayed Jovkar. Don't get fooled by his degrees and licenses all over the walls in his office. He just thinks about the money and the patients are just a source of money making. He was recommend by a friend. I went to him for just a simple yearly eye exam. After checking my eyes he said: you have a birth defect in your right eye. I told him this is not a birth defect. When I was child, my baseball rolled under the rose bushes. When I was trying to get the ball a torn got in my eye and damaged it and since then I have a foggy eye on that eye. He examined the eye gain and he said: "with a simple surgery you can get 20/20 vision". I told him I have seen many eye doctors since then and all of them told me the eye is damaged and sugary doesn't do anything. After many explanation he convinced me that they were wrong and it can be fixed. I gave up and two weeks later went for sugary in a hospital. Make it short, the eye just didn't improve at all, it had a side effect after the sugary. Every time, I took a hot shower my eye was twitching. When I told him he said: your body needs to be adjusted to that. Month later I told him my vision is also not better. He said: it is much better than before sugary. I got mad and I told him the eye is mine or yours. I know that nothing has been changed except has a twitching side effect. I left his office angry and never went back to him. The good thing the side effect is gone after years but my vision has never got better. Just FYI. My insurance was billed 15k at that time

I cannot recommend Dr. Jovkar and his team highly enough. From the moment you enter their office, you are treated with the utmost professionalism. His staff is incredibly warm and welcoming, and they always help me find an appointment time that best fits my schedule even when they are very busy. Dr. Jovkar is a wonderful doctor who cares deeply about his patients. He always takes as much time as needed to thoroughly explain eye health symptoms and concerns. His compassionate demeanor, meticulous approach, and high commitment to ensuring that you receive great care are unmatched. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Jovkar for over 20 years, and we could not ask for a more kind and knowledgeable doctor.

I am now 2 weeks Post Op after my first cataract procedure, and I can not express how happy and pleased I am with the results. Dr Jovkar has given me a complete whole outlook on life. My case was not your typical everyday cataract procedure. There were great challenges from the beginning. However, with Dr Jovkar skills and expertise, he took on my case without any hinderance, and developed a successful plan. The outcome was above superb. Now I can not wait for my second cataract procedure. I would also like to recognize Dr Jovkar's entire office staff. Everyone is professional, friendly and so very helpful. The staff's demeanor truly creates an environment which puts you at ease from the moment you enter the office. I would recommend to anyone and everyone, that they visit and meet Dr Jovkar for their vision needs. I have had a wonderful experience at Dr Jovkar's office . His office is ran like a professional , friendly fine tune machine. Dr. Jovkar and his whole staff are great. Dr. Jovkar did my Catersct surgeries and I am thrilled with my new eyesight. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Jovkar for 20 years. Two years ago my glasses were completely measured wrong. I complained and asked to have them be re-done. After many conversations ( he wanted to not reimburse me due to "restocking fees"), he agreed to reorder my glasses. 2 years later, last month he refused to complete my visit and did not give me a new prescription, claiming he lost money on the last glasses. What about the money he has charged my health insurance and vision insurance for the last 20 years?? Does he want to know how much money I spent on chiropractic therapy due to his mistake?? I will never go back to this unethical person again.
