We had a great experience at this optometry office for my 5-year-old's second annual eye appointment (last year was her first visit). Even though we arrived a bit late, the staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating, which immediately put us at ease. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff handled the initial tests with patience and care, especially considering I was with a young child. After a very short wait, the doctor came in, asked questions about any concerns, and walked us through each part of the exam in a calm, kid-friendly way. What really stood out was how clearly the doctor explained the results--everything was broken down in a way that was easy for us to understand and reassuring as parents. We never felt rushed, and it was clear they genuinely cared about our child's eye health. As an added bonus, we were able to use our annual insurance benefit toward a pair of sunglasses and ended up with a high-quality brand for a very minimal out-of-pocket cost, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, a professional, efficient, and family-friendly experience. Highly recommend, especially for parents bringing in young children.

Dr Tran is truly everything the reviews say he is. Friendly, polite and very professional. Also on time! He took his time with me even though he had a steady stream of customers . Asked me questions and made suggestions for my benefit, and how it might help with the problems I've been having with my eye sight. His staff also friendly polite and professional. I usually have my spouse with me to help pick out glasses, and being by myself it was hard to choose the right frames. The staff checked on me and offered more choices bringing other frames from the back. This was a pleasant experience as I was not happy with the optometrist I had seen last eye exam. Would highly recommend!

I had a great experience at this eye center. The doctor is very kind, professional, and patient, and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. I felt very comfortable asking questions. The staff are also friendly and helpful, which made the entire visit pleasant. I highly recommend this eye center.

The doctor is great and the girls who work there are so sweet. My only issue is the selection of glasses. Nothing too exciting. Square, rectangle, and circle and they are all pretty small: None of the glasses were something I would like to wear everyday: I got my exam and prescription and I will buy my glasses elsewhere.

OMG! Dr Joey Tran went above & beyond! Just moved to San Jose from SF so don't have regular eye Dr yet. I wear a scleral contact lens that got stuck in my eye on a Saturday afternoon. After striking out w 20+ phone calls to anyone who would take me-- Dr Tran to the rescue!! I wasn't his patient, my insurance plan doesn't include urgent eye care-- but he saw me anyway! He stayed late to wait for me-- saw me immediately--and didn't charge me. He said, "It took me 5 minutes." WOW! Office staff stayed late as well -- no attitude -- even though its 4:30pm on a Saturday during holiday week after closing time. Also, scleral lenses can be tricky --esp for me - who had multiple RKs, PRKs, and Lasik (said another way, my eyes are a mess). Easy peasy for Dr. Tran. Don't let his youthful appearance fool you. Dr Tran = EYE GURU!! Suffice it to say, I just found my new eye doc -- not just for me but my family members as well!

I have been seeing Dr Tran for a few years, and I am very impressed with his care and skill. He is transparent, clear, energetic, kind and efficient. Appointments are quick, yet I always receive all the information and care that I needed. I highly recommend Dr Tran.

Efficient service and friendly staff. I've been looking for a good optometry office for a while now and I think I found it! Location: The parking is behind the building, and the entrance is the door you see from the parking, not the one on the street. Service: The optometrist, Dr Tren, was very patient and listen to all my concerns carefully and addressed them all in a patient friendly language and I was not lost in terminology. I booked an appointment 2 days before my visit and I admitted right on time. Then the staff clearly explained my options for payment and helped me to choose the best one. I felt very welcomed and I am grateful for the service I received.
