Updated on 01/05/17: Pretty much consistent experience; the appointment system worked, Dr. Feldman was very positive and explained things in detail and I found a nice pair of sunglasses. I am satisfied with Dr. Feldman's services. He did a thorough eye exam, explained everything in great detail, and did not recommend a laser surgery or other extra (and money making) things to me. In fact, he advised me to not go for laser surgery as it would not really improve things. The only thing that could be improved is the appointment management system of his office. But at least they made sure that I did not forgot about my appointment :-)

If you're anywhere within walking or driving distance of downtown San Jose and you need a great Optometrist, you need to be going to Dr. Scott Feldman's office. I have been a patient of his for over 30 years. Him and his long time staff have been taking excellent care of me. After I developed premature cataracts, he referred me directly to a top flight eye surgeon immediately. I had to have my organic lenses replaced with man made ones. Dr. Feldman and his staff kept in touch to make sure I was taken care of with follow up by both him and the surgeon. I give Feldman and his staff an unequivocal 5 stars and a thumbs up. Because of Dr. Feldman's thorough care and advice, I currently only need to wear low magnification glasses for reading very small print. This after wearing glasses for most of my adult life.

My family has been going to Dr. Feldman for two generations now and have always had wonderful experiences. The office is modern and staff is friendly and explain things carefully and clearly. Dr. Feldman is an excellent doctor and I trust my vision to him. Frame turn around is slow because the frames are made off site. You are getting QUALITY frames and lenses....NOT lenscrafters. The frames sold range from the latest and greatest high-end styles to the most basic. Pilar does an excellent job selecting the best frame for your face and understands that glasses are like jewelry for your face and should compliment (not overwhelm or undersell) your features. I get complimented all the time on the frames she helps me select. Dr. Feldman's team is aimed at providing the best care for your eyes and selling you what you need, that's it!

First, I will say that our entire family had been seen by Dr. Feldman and his staff for over ten years. We returned, because Dr. Feldman is the best in his field. Oscar and Pilar, are good at assisting you at picking the correct frame for your face, and fitting you. The only complaint that I have, is that in this day and age of high tech performance, communication, delivery, etc... They are great at reminding you when your appointment is due, and getting you in the office, but TERRIBLE about getting your glasses to you once you order them.... Expect to wait on average a three week to four weeks... Really? Seriously?

I had a great experience at Feldman Scott P OD, my eye checkup went very smooth. Dr. Feldman did a thorough exam and explained everything in detail. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They checked with my insurance provider about my insurance plan and did not charge me a single extra penny.

I've been wearing eye glasses since 1965, so I've been to a LOT of optometrists. This place is very professional with a great staff. I called in yesterday to inquire about the warranty for my frames. I ordered them last June and the paint was flaking off and getting worse by the day. Ana looked up my account and ordered me a new pair, no questions asked, sight unseen. Wow! I was more than impressed! I was completely blown away! I'm a customer for life now! Thank you Ana and thank you Dr. Feldman. Update: I got my new glasses today and Ana adjusted them for me perfectly. Thank you Ana! If you want great eyes and great service, this is the place to shop.

I've been going to this office for my eye exams for the past 5 years, and it continues to be a positive experience. Dr. Feldman and his staff are friendly, professional, courteous, and easy to work with. I will continue to choose Dr. Feldman's office for all of my eye care needs.

My hubby introduced me to this care provider 8 years ago. My has been receiving care from Dr. Feldman for over 20 years. We live in Sacramento but continue to make the journey because it is always worth it. We consistently get outstanding service and are treated in an respectful manner. Our visit this December we saw a new provider, Dr. Wong. She was very efficient and easy to talk with. Overall the staff old and new are Awesome! We recommend this office to anyone looking for the BEST care for your peepers!
