I have had an cataract surgery with Dr. Nguyen in November 2024. I have paid all office visits including $915 co-insurance for the hospital site where my surgery was performed. In addition to the regular service charge paid by my insurance, Dr. Nguyen offered me one " lens " which was not covered by my Silver 73 VHP plan, I agreed to paid $1,000 for that. She and her staffs were never mention how much more I have to pay for the completed procedure, neither her staff did not provide me the invoice nor the bill before and after the surgery. 4 months later, her staff called me to remind the follow up appointment, she required additional payment ($311) co-insurance that I "owed" the office for the past surgery. I questioned about the required payment, why I am not aware of this charge, also I asked for the invoice with itemized explanation, Ms. Mimi who answered my phone said "you call your insurance for your questions, my office can not tell patients the doctor's service charge IN ADVANCE before the surgery; we do not have the invoice for you because we billed electronic to your insurance." ??? What happened? Why this office did not mention about additional payments will be collected from client BEFORE procedure begins? If they do so the patient can choose to go with this doctor or deny it to select other provider. I was surprise when the office requested for those payments. I asked for the invoice, and billing lady can not provide one, even electronic billing. Too bad. So if you need to see this doctor. Beware of hidden charge!

Worst doctor I've ever met, she rushes to do something else instead of discussing nor explains the health condition with the patient. My mom had an appointment with her on 12/22/2021. During the appointment time, she only spent less than a half of minute to talk to the patient. She doesn't want to answer patient's question nor go over/instructions the prescription to the patient. Also, her office staff or she by herself sent the prescription order to the wrong pharmacy location and left the mess to the patient to take care. She lacks of any ethical of doctor being. She is not deserved to be rated a 1 star on the review, but a negative star. What kind of doctor she is!?!

This is a very very rude doctor I ever met in my life. She is even rude with a 3 years old little girl. She ask me keep my daughter and put a cotton bud rudely hard to my daughter eyes made her eyes bleeding. I will claim a lawyer or hospital about this. I had a lot of problems with my eye because my previous ophthalmologist was just stalling me for my money. Right when I got to dr office, she got straight down to buissness and she fixed my problem in a week while my eye blurriness and pain had been occurring for 3 months.

she is the rude doctor I ever since... she rejected my son with only 6 yrs old because he doesn't have Vaccine..ohh pls there is no law for patients have to have Vaccine. What kind of the doctor?
