This place is very courteous and checking in my appointment was on-time. The doctor was very thorough and the assistant as well. I was able to get progressive lenses and received a huge discount on the transition lenses. They helped me find a great pair of glasses. I don't have insurance and so it was a lot but I have no regrets. Recommend this location at Oakridge mall 1000%.
Five stars, all thanks to Kevin Shaffner.
The quality of the lenses is excellent, but what really stood out was the fitting and adjustments Kevin provided. Getting progressive lenses right isn't easy. Kevin took the time and had the patience to figure out what I needed, and it made all the difference.
You can buy fancy frames anywhere, but this level of care and attention is rare. That's what makes Kevin stand out--you can tell he genuinely cares about doing the job well and making customers happy.
I will definitely be back to order my second pair, and honestly, it's because of Kevin. I hope his management sees and values the great work he does.
I also want to mention Sophia, who is outstanding. Even though I wasn't her original customer, she took the time to help me, listened carefully, and genuinely cared. She was incredibly kind and made the whole experience feel easy. Thank you so much for such excellent service, Sophia!
I would like to share my experience dealing with LensCrafters in Oakridge Mall. I've been a client of this store for multiple years. I really appreciate the level of care that they provided in the in-depth eye examination and the manager who dealt with me in the past was amazing. In fact, the prior experiences I have had with this location Were so pleasant that I drive from Santa Cruz County to go to this particular location. My experience today was horrific. I had booked an appointment and my appointment was for 10:20 in the morning. Because I had to drive from Santa Cruz to San Jose there were multiple traffic delays on the drive leading me to arrive at my appointment at 10:31. When I went to the desk to let the representative know that I had an appointment she immediately told me that I was one minute late, I was told that they only have a 10 minute grace period of which I did not see any of that information on my appointment confirmation and that I was going to be charged for the missed appointment and that they only had one doctor. She then said that because I was late and there was paperwork to do, even though none of my paperwork has changed since last year, that they were unable to accommodate me, perhaps had this has been told in a polite manner with empathy, it wouldn't have irritated me so much, but I am in customer service and this was so off-putting and accusatory that I told her I will never come to LensCrafters again and they have lost me as a Customer. She didn't care one bit based on her demeanor and attitude, she's probably thinking good riddance. I don't want that lady as a customer anyhow!! I'm not sure that you as a company care about losing a customer, but I do know that I will be sure and let everyone I know about the ridiculous way that I was treated and again I understand people's time is valuable, and I understand that, according to your internal policies, of which I was not made aware of, that you have a 10 minute grace period, but to be told, to my face, you're one minute late, based on their grace period, especially when I have had to sit in their waiting room way longer than 10 minutes in the past is ridiculous and not customer centric! The lady who helped me was rude and not a great ambassador for LensCrafters!
I went in to do the eye contact fitting. I felt I was not being heard by the optometrist, when I said multiple times the contacts didn't feel comfortable, right and blurry. I went in and wasn't asked questions as I had been in past from other doctors to help figure out which contacts would be best. Instead I was put in a 16 hr wear new eye contact that had a blue light filter. I mentioned multiple times how I felt the contacts. I asked what would be next option and after what seemed like 15 min Dr never handed me a different pair to try. Instead she kept saying it was a fitting, and checked to see that the stigmatize fit. She asked if I could see a line of letters but never asked what they were. At one point I just gave up, got up went to the sink to take them out. I was told every time I blink it would be blurry. I decided to get up and end the session since my eyes were uncomfortable and I was getting no where with the optometrist. Unfortunately I now have no prescription and an exam that was paid for.
Sophia is outstanding in her customer service care understanding and communication!!! Her attention to detail is paramount in the industry
My wife and I had a fantastic experience picking out glasses, thanks to Micaela! She was amazing from the moment we walked in -- super helpful and genuinely invested in helping us find the right frames.
What stood out most was that she wasn't afraid to ask questions to better understand what we were looking for. That made all the difference. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she made the whole process enjoyable and stress-free.
We're both really happy with our choices and grateful for Micaela's help. Highly recommend working with her if you get the chance!
This place was absolutely amazing. I accidentally damaged my frames on my glasses and Dylan here at LensCrafters helped me fix my frames in the matter of seconds and it was so bad. I literally couldn't see you since they are prescription lenses. I went next-door to sunglass hut and they were unable to help me since they're prescription, but thank God I met Dylan and he made them as close to perfect as possible. I just literally walked in and they did it immediately and were super friendly!l and knowledgeable!
Jackie, the Lab Manager was great! Both the Stoneridge and Valley Fair stores said they could not polish the lenses on my new glasses. Even though I paid for it. I brought it to Jackie at Oakridge, and No problem. She was very happy to do it for me, and very fast.
Well done Jackie, you are an all star !
