Dr. Salamanca was absolutely wonderful. First of all, her demeanor is professional, gentle, and approachable. Getting the comprehensive exam, she gave me a very understandable explanation of the condition of my eyes with the use of images of my retinas, showing me what she looks for and how I'm doing. She also made me feel very comfortable with her willingness to answer any questions I had. Not once did I ever feel like she was trying to upsell me on anything. I believe that she genuinely has my best interests at heart and that she enjoys what she does. The staff were also very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Salamanca at Bayside Family Eyecare!

One of the best experiences I've had at an optometrists office for a long time. I was surprised how quiet and nice it was, considering it's inside of Costco. The doctor I saw was very kind and answered all of my questions and concerns. They do not take insurance, I was told on the phone, and it's around $90 cash/debit. I was fine with this because the one I saw in my insurance network tried to get me to see only their specialists for conditions I don't have. I ended up going to an ophthalmologist for a second opinion to confirm. Anywho, this office was very nice and it's to the point. Easy to go out and get glasses when you're done at Costco as well. Highly recommend, will go back next year!

Best optometrist I've ever visited. Dr. Truong is both knowledgeable and thorough. He is patient and friendly. He took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions. He also offered practical advice for everyday eye care. Friendly staff and excellent care.

All the staff in the office were extremely nice and patient. Dr. Salamanca was great, very patient and talked in a way I understood. Dr. Henry Truong was also very helpful when I had an eye injury and also had good vacation tips for my husband and I.

Dr Truong is an awesome eye doctor. He's very professional and knowledgeable. He explains things clearly and I highly recommend him. He's staff is also great. They're a great team. I always go to them for my eye care.

This is a really nice any friendly place to come for your eye care. Dr. Salamanca is gray any she really cares about her patients. You can't go wrong here!
