They went above and beyond to squeeze in my dog with a last minute emergency eye injury. They made space to do an emergency eye removal surgery the following morning. They took great care of Pancakes and were all friendly and helpful. Her surgery is healing well. Very thankful.

My cat had to get a surgery done by Dr. Burwell and both the initial visit and surgery appointment were great. Everyone I spoke with is very kind. Jessica was so sweet and thoughtful during check in. She made me feel better about leaving my baby and reassured me that everything will go smoothly. Nikki and Renee were great at check out and Dr. Burrell also talked to me about what to expect for recovery. Thank you all for being so sweet and thoughtful! This facility is highly professional and helped me get my German shepherd's eye problem diagnosed and treated accordingly! I would highly recommend Dr Burwell and her team to anyone looking for help with their beloved animals' eye issues. They handled my dog with care and made him comfortable throughout the process. Took photos for records and accepted Care Credit which enabled me to get him taken care of!

This is a really nice practice. I saw Dr. Burwell, bringing her a Senior GSD with a Boxer's Ulcer. It's just a good experience from beginning to end. The office staff is nice and effective, their reminders and pre-check in work better than most systems, Vet Techs are amazing, and Dr. Burwell is obviously passionate about her job, and good at what she does. The procedure was not paid for by insurance and I considered the rate very reasonable.
My dog has healed up, and I would recommend these folks to anyone.

How lucky Sonoma County has eye care for animals; we have been an unfortunate frequent flier with our now 14 year Pittie. He and his big old bubbly eyes have had some injuries and conditions over the last few years associated with aging and the lesser immune response to self heal. Several procedures; one surgical procedure involving anesthesia . Bubs is like a toddler and he has had excellent treatment and care. Follow up and quick response to my questions and concerns. Quality care as I have learned over the past decade plus does not always come with $$$$$. We have changed our providers when there has been lackluster service, care, or lacking continuity of care. Our experience has been very positive here; care matches the expense. And we are grateful.

Best animal eye doctor! Dr burwell made us feel in good hands. After coming to her I wouldn't trust any other doctor. My blue healer peppers incisions/ scars after her eye Inoculation look amazing. If you are second guessing your choice to remove your dogs eyes don't. Pepper is still playing fetch and is the same dog as always.
