Wow: From hello to "your glasses will arrive in two weeks," Warby Parker absolutely nailed it. I was impressed from start to finish--and that's saying something.
I was warmly greeted the moment I walked in, the frames sales floor was clean/modern/stocked/inviting and easy to navigate, and I was into my eye exam within five minutes (yes, FIVE). The first gal who helped me was amazing (Diane?) - she handled some of the preliminaries on my eye exam and told me about the optical scan for an extra nominal charge ($30/35), and explained it perfectly so that I had to have it, and felt comfortable with it. After we concluded the preliminary eye exam, I walked out to the sales floor to peruse the frames for a hot minute or two before being warmly greeted by the eye doctor (James) who was excellent--knowledgeable, professional, and made everything easy to understand without a hint of rush.
From there, the lovely team member (Shelly) who helped me order my frames and check out sealed the deal. She was super helpful and kind - navigating through her online system to try to locate my vision insurance provider. She even went in the back to try to find one of the frame colors (that didn't appear to be on the sales floor) and made sure I had the eyeglasses that I really wanted and then carefully explained the pricing in a way that I completely understood what I was purchasing. In fact, I ended up purchasing two pairs, I was so impressed with everything.
Every single person I interacted with was clearly well-trained and delivered what I can only describe as platinum-level customer service. Everything was explained clearly, the process made total sense, and the timing? Flawless.
I was in and out in under an hour, glasses are already on the way, and they'll be arriving at my doorstep in Sonoma about two weeks. Efficient, friendly, & genuinely enjoyable--who knew an eye appointment could feel this good?
10/10, no notes.
Shopping for glasses is so much better in person! I used the virtual try-on feature on the Warby Parker website and didn't care for the selection, but being there in person with a supportive staff to give helpful opinions made the process much easier. I ended up with TWO pairs of glasses with the perfect combination of features for my needs. Everyone that works there helped me out and made the experience a pleasure.
Warby Parker provided me with the best customer service and experience. The salesperson (Elle, hope I got the spelling correct) in the store I went to in Montgomery Village was so knowledgeable and helpful. Optical sales is a tough business - eyeglass frames are a commodity but also truly a specialty, so Optical sits in a special spot in terms of providing value. I think Warby Parker has it dialed in exactly right. I ended up at Warby Parker due to the poor benefit as well as the poor experience at Kaiser, who told me it would take at least 3 1/2 weeks to get new Rx eyeglasses, and no new $175 benefit for 2 years. Beyond which their opening hours (and requiring an "appointment" for anything and everything Optical) are not in line with the retail business Optical actually is. Thank you Warby Parker, and especially to Elle for being such a positive, professional and knowledgeable person in helping me :) It was a great experience!
I have purchased glasses online from Warby Parker, but I much prefer going to the store in person. I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of selecting the frames and placing my order. I had my eye exam at Kaiser, then took that prescription to Warby. LOVE them!
I wanted to get an eye exam as I had a DMV eye exam scheduled and wanted to pass. Long time since I had an eye exam. They were able to schedule my exam right away. The whole experience was relaxed and pleasant. I did need glasses and really liked the variety of frames.
Everyone was easy to work with, efficient and I was in and out in an hour.
Great store! Awesome selection of glasses frames. Knowledgeable and courteous staff that don't pressure sales but share the benefits of the products. Wonderful experience and much more affordable than purchasing glasses through my optometrist's office.
The optician was kind and helpful, the store well equipped, and the service excellent. I stopped in to have some adjustments made to two pairs of sunglasses I'd purchased online, and the staff took care of me quickly.
My only area for improvement: when the technician adjusted the fit, the clamps used during the heat treatment process left a few visible marks on the frames. Not a major issue, but a bit disappointing.
Otherwise, the overall service and experience were great--thank you!
The staff is most welcoming and receptive upon entering their store. The staff is very helpful in helping one select frames that meet your needs, face shape, and coloring of your face and head. This is very important so as to have glasses that are "you" glasses, not just from off a rack at Walmart or Costco.
The opticians at Warby Parker are most skilled in ensuring your glasses fit and feel comfortable and optimize your specific zones... that is reading, store shelves, computer, and distance.
