Mitchell C. Latter, M.D. - South Pasadena

Dr Latter has been my Opthamologist for the last 4 years. He is very thorough in his examination and patiently explains his findings and recommendations. He recently performed cataract surgery in both eyes. i am extremely pleased with the results. I had the standard lens in one eye and opted for the "multi-focal" lens in the other. I am able to clearly see both near and far without contacts which I have worn for over 50 years! His staff is very efficient in scheduling appointments, responding to messages and following up on concerns. I highly recommend Dr Latter and his staff

I could not recommend Dr. Latter highly enough!! After literally 20 years of searching for an ophthalmologist in NE Los Angeles, I found him (not sure how). He is extremely capable, knowledgeable, efficient, and effective. He is the first and only guy who has really gotten my eyeglass prescription RIGHT (after many years of extreme frustration not being able to see well in any number of situations), and has really worked miracles with my ongoing medical eye issues. Office staff is FRIENDLY (imagine that in a doctor's office), and also efficient and helpful. 10 stars out of 5 possible!!

If I can give more than 5 stars to Doctor Latter and his staff, I would do so. His staff is amazing, and the great thing about doctor Latter is when I needed help the most for my eyes ( I couldn't opened my eyes because of bad allergies and it was like sand in my left eyes). I called and his staff scheduled me to come in the next day. He fixed my problems within the first visit. Dr. Latter is very knowledgeable and his tests+ medication really works right away to help with my eyes problems. I have been with some eyes doctor, had to pay out of pockets, and they still didnt fix my problems until I got that appointment with Doctor Latter. I truly recommend Doctor Latter to everyone to save your time and money. He really can fix my problems right away.

I saw Dr. Latter my first time last week. I had a positive experience with him and his staff. I was greeted right away and didn't have much of a wait before i was getting my eyes examined. Dr. Latter was very personable. I would highly recommend him and his staff to my friends. My boyfriend will be there in a few weeks!

Dr. Latter and staff are AMAZING! I was so stressed out because of the issue with my eyes and they made my initial visit a positive one. Definitely recommend 10/10.

There aren't enough words to express how grateful we are to have found Dr. Latter. His office and staff were by far most outstanding. From immaculate, modern and clean office (COVID protocol is top notch ) through professional, thoughtful and detail oriented doctor- the experience was amazing! Dr Latter did an incredible job dissecting my husband's vision and explaining his needs and describing the dense cataract which had blinded his right-eye. We quickly scheduled his surgery and felt fully informed of the process. Dr.Latter was incredible at running final tests to ensure he had all data available about my husband's cataract. The surgery was a success - quick and painless. I truly felt my husband was in the hands of an exceptional surgeon. Everything is going great post surgery and my husband is thrilled to be able to see again. Thank you Dr Latter !!!

Dr. Latter is a true professional in his industry. Whenever I visit him yearly for my eye exam, I feel very taken care of and adequately helped. His bedside manner is extremely wonderful and you can tell he truly cares about his clients. His staff is friendly and warm and he takes extra precautions to handle visits in the COVID era. I feel very safe at his office and his staff is impeccable about cleaning. I am very fortunate to have done my research and picked him as my doctor. You can tell that he loves what he does. When I needed help picking an adequate vision plan, his staff directed me to great companies that would allow me to keep seeing him. I trust him and his expertise. I highly recommend using him and you will not be disappointed.
