Attentive, thoughtful staff. This was my first visit with Dr. Lee Kim. Thorough exam and discussion about the results--consider this if you want to be in/out quickly. Personally, I appreciated the doctor's time. In addition to getting new frames/lenses, I was able to get new lenses for my older, still-in-great-shape frames. My previous optometrist would only sell lenses with new frames. My husband had his first visit with Dr. Tsai. Also very thorough and kind. He did not find frames he loved, so he only got new lenses for his older, still-in-good-shape frames. BONUS: Parking lot with free parking!

I spent two days, calling at least 20 optometrists in the Pasadena area trying to get a vision exam for my out of state driver's license renewal. I even went to a couple of places in person. The issue was I needed the doctor or their representative in the office to request the form from the DMV via email. No other office was willing to make the request except for South Pasadena Optometric Group. The office manager, Dolly, was extremely understanding and helpful. She promptly made the request. Unfortunately the out of state DMV did not get back to her. I did not get to have my exam with South Pasadena Optometric Group, but they will be my first choice in the future because of their great and attentive customer service, something that is obviously lost to their competitors.

Dr. Lee Kim is amazing at what she does and overly kind! I have been coming here for quite a while, with a lot of eye complications and she has been patient and kind through the process of finding my right prescription. I was seeing a different doctor before her who pretty much cancelled out the option of me wearing contacts. After speaking to Dr. Lee Kim we tried again and now I'm happily and comfortably wearing contacts!
Every staff member here is also very kind and professional. I never have an issue booking my next appointment and am treated with amazing customer service!
