Costco Optical Department

It's a well staffed location. I went on a Saturday at 11 and went through their shelves and picked out two frames. They had three windows for mens glasses that are large frames - which isn't that common. Tino reached out to help me and he was so nice and professional. He presented the lens option and helped me submit for VSP benefits. And he even helped me do over my glasses I wore going in. Such a pro. Can't wait to pick up the new glasses !

Great selection of Universal Fit glasses for Asians with low nose bridges. Men and women's styles. Look for the blue globe sticker on the corner of the right lens. They even have a Big Man Fit one! Better selection than Redwood City Costco. Daly City Costco not as good, but better than Redwood City.

I took away 1 star cuz I discovered some staff aren't as detailed with helpful info that I got the other day from Minh. I'm really miffed that a previous staff member told me Costco no longer does bifocals which I found out yesterday ISN'T true. Minh was great & the next time I need glasses, I will specifically request that he helps me.

Take a number. NO Thank you! I waited twice, for what? 800 contacts will get them delivered to your door fast and will beat any pricing. Glasses you can get anywhere else. I went to a competitor that claims to be the Best in America and so far, I have been nothing but happy and never waiting again. I love Costco, for everything except for eye care, your life is to valuable to wait here.

I purchased 3 frames and lenses. When I want to check the status of my ordres, the person at the phone, kept me in a hold for more than 20 mn. I understand that new customers are valuable but not more than the old customers because I payed money.

Rain is so patient and sweet! Was stressed about ordering contacts online and using my new vision insurance. Rain answered my calls and sat with me on the phone while trying to help me navigate my new insurance, getting the prescription from my OD, and informing me about popular lenses with better deals. I called in extremely stressed because I didn't have much supply left, and didn't know if my prescription was still valid. Rain's wonderful customer service, helpfulness, and willingness to go above and beyond to help me out and explain how ordering contacts from Costco optical was fantastic. Will be coming back to Costco Vision as my source of sight, and once again an enormous thank you to Rain!

My husband got his eyeglasses made there after seeing the doctor at the optical inside Costco . They couldn't get the glasses right after 3 trials . My husband still can't use his glasses without getting headache . We want our money back so that we can go to a different place to get new glasses that will fit his need . DO NOT GO THERE !! Such a bad experience!!!

I mostly had good experience with this place. Staffs are super helpful once they're 1:1 with you. But it's unacceptable that they sometimes skip the number to help someone without a number for more than 20mins. Why do we draw number then?
