Walked in today for some simple frames, and got the benefits of their buy one get one sale. They were able to see me within 10 minutes to perform my FREE eye exam, I picked out two pairs of frames, and everything came out to just $79.00! Gave me my prescription and everything, and I wasn't even there for an hour. 5 stars! Just waiting on my glasses now....

2 out of 10 because I didn't know it was virtual I really didn't like the experience but I just wanted to get it over with. I persnally prefer a place that would help me pick out my glasses because the lady was no help she just told me that's what u were suppose to do pick out ure glasses I was unsure what to get but bc I really needed them I wanted to get it over with. I was also interested in a pair of glasses but the lady told me that they were expensive.... I genuinely prefer a place where they help you pick out the right pair and explain the best type of lenses u could use. But I do give it props for being easy to make appointments

Terrible place . Literally wasted my time bringing my son here, they don't have an actual doctor performing the exam . It's all done virtually, had I known that I would've never brought my child here in the first place . They don't tell you or anything till you're actually there . They put his prescription on hold & referred to me somewhere else anyways ! Ridiculous. I'd give them no stars if I could .

Very clean store, soon as you walk in smells so pleasant. Staff was very friendly especially Shemia, very helpful and professional. She helped me pick the perfect pair of glasses. Definitely will be coming back!

Would give this place a better rating if: 1) they knew how to spell my child's name correctly, every time they spell it wrong even after it's written on paper 2) if they had workers there that knew how to clean lenses! Just picked up my daughters glasses from getting a repair done and the lenses are horribly dirty! We give them clean and pick them up nasty. Common sense to give back anyones glasses clean like the last place we've gotten glasses from. Their excuse is "oh I don't know how to clean lenses good". Like really, every time she has gone to get her glasses adjusted, not only do they NOT clean the lenses, they put their fingers all over them. Have some common sense in handling your patient's glasses, it's not like they are cheap either!

If you actually need glasses, I would stay far away from Stockton Stanton Optical. Glasses were ordered over a month ago and still haven't received them. Customer service is horrible. If you are able to contact someone via phone, they will blame the delay on the lab and state they will put in a ticket. Three weeks and two tickets later and still NO glasses. Good luck if you decide to go with this company. Called the customer service number you provided and guess what??? Another two weeks! That is if the glasses even show up then. Good thing glasses aren't needed to see Stanton!

Why I decided to go elsewhere after calling first: 1- My call went through a couple of clicks to a "hard sell" individual. The background noise sounded like a call center. They had to ask me for the location and immediately wanted me to schedule. I said I need more information first. The person ignored me and repeated themselves twice. 2- I asked about the free eye exam special I'd seen online. The reply matched. The exam is free but you pay for the frames and any upgrades, they work with insurance, and the client may be responsible for the difference between coverage amount and actual price of the end product. I was pressured to make an appointment again. 3- I asked about the return policy. "We'll make it right within 30 days" then same pressure to book. 3- I asked if they bill insurance...(repeat of above). 4- I asked said if they had frames that fit the Medi-cal plan allowance. That's when things went from bad to worse. The "Free" exam became a regular exam fee and the frame price began at $60. The insurance eye care plan offers an annual exam with a licensed opthamologist and pair of glasses with no out of pocket expense for the client (unless they go over the covered amount for the frames). Nowhere was it noted that the "special" or this vendor excluded certain insurance plans. Medi-cal is designed so there are no out of pocket expenses for the covered individual as long as they stay within the allowed fees for frames. This business appears to be managed more like a drive-thru than a licensed opthamologist's office..which is where I did book my appointment.

The customer service is great. The staff are friendly and engaging with conversation. I like the location, having eye exam, pick your glasses and pickup with Norma was informative and professional. She knows her stuff! Enjoyed doing business here.
