AHLEM

I just love my new AHLEM glasses. I had not heard of this beautiful stylish brand until I parked outside the store. I looked in the window and spied my new gray/blue Mirabeau glasses, tried them on and loved them instantly. Jenni the very personable manager helped me. Besides being very professional she is also great at personalizing the fit, a real and rare skill. My glasses fit perfectly. I would highly recommend taking a look at the extensive collection.

Such a bummer. Cool style, cool shop but the glasses do not last. Completely fell apart for no reason. There is no customer service repair for their faulty product, they just tell you to buy new frames. Terrible. I would spend your money elsewhere or at least purchase from a company that will back up their product.

This is a review for service. I purchased a pair of gorgeous Ahlem St. Germain sunglasses at the DTLA location, and they quickly became my favorite pair. 6 months in, one of the silver accents came off and I happened to be in LA, strolling through Abbott Kinney. I didn't have my pair with me, but Emma at the store was amazingly helpful, letting me know that I can come by with the pair or ship them to the store. I got back to SF, sent the glasses to the store and they were back in a week, fully repaired! Thank you, Emma and thank you, Ahlem!

Abbot Kinney is full of gems and AHLEM is for sure one of them. A simple yet stunning store created and curated with so much taste like all the sunglasses, books and decoration accessories you can find there. Ahlem the designer was there when I stopped by and told me a little bit about the brand's story which was so nice to hear. Bonus point they are very kid friendly (which isn't always the case for mom who like to shop with their kiddos)! I'll be returning for sure!

This was one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences I have ever had and it was all due to Eric. I am not one to lavish praise in general and I was moved my his knowledge professionalism and elan. He gracefully directed me to a set of frames that perfectly suited me that I wouldn't have chosen for myself in all candor I wasn't even looking for new glasses and was a tag along to the store, which is beautifully set and understated. Truly, an outstanding place, product and staff. Big win.

Ahlem's spare and beautifully curated store on Abbot Kinney is the perfect place to browse the eyewear and receive an expert consultation on the right look for your face. The vibe is sunny, warm, and gorgeously crafted, like the glasses themselves. One of the best shopping destinations on the street.

Terrible post-sale service!!! I bought a pair son sunglasses years ago, I knew they were out of warranty but I loved them so much I was keen to spend some money to restore them. I inquire in December 2024, and I not only had to follow up on my inquire over 5 times to get them to give me a straight forward response because they ghosted me, so far until today I haven't even got any email back from them. Their last email on April 3rd, quote: "We are awaiting shipping estimates, I will get you these as soon as tomorrow". Not buying from them ever again. EDIT: 4 days later I have no email (not even in SPAM) no phone call. Nothing so far...

What an amazing shopping experience! I wasn't even planning to purchase glasses... but Eric pulled out a pair of glasses (that I would have NEVER selected for myself personally) and said "these are the ones for you." He was right. This guy is seriously awesome. 10/10 would recommend!
